I think you might find the entire population of the former Mesopotamia think that Let's be honest muslims find it very hard to live with other muslims let alone none muslims. That`s the truth of the matter. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the Balfour Agreement, The Louisiana Purchase, The Treaty Of Ghent, or anything else that happened in the past, it`s the inability of great swathes of the Muslim world to live peacefully with anybody who differs in any way from themselves, that is the cause of so much bloodshed.

Read your history instead of dancing on a sixpence Have studied it in detail, and have invested hundreds of hours watching debates on the subject, but thanks for the tip. Not much of a tip, is it? Sixpence. Can`t imagine the waitress being too impressed with that.

Thanks to irishrover I will not need to point out that you have not replied/told me the simple thing I wanted to know. As you do not believe the decision was not made in error, I am sure that you, as a football cognoscente, will have reported your belief to the relevant authorities. Can you confirm that you have done so, please, Bamber? Thank you. Why would I report anything to the football authorities, each match has an assessor who will report on the performance of the officials. Unless of course you are suggesting that the assessor may not be wholly objective and honest and that letters from supporters on the terraces may hold some sway at FA HQ? I can assure everyone on here, that letters from supporters on the terraces, do not hold any sway at FA HQ. I have spent the last 40 years writing such letters to the FA, ( sometimes two or three per game ) and never once, has a decision been overturned as a result of this. F**k knows what it`s cost me in stamps.

Whatever else he may be, he is a genuine fan. It`s no secret in Scotland who he supports, ( left foot forward, my boy.) I guess he was in the area, and decided to take in a game.

Never heard of him. Is he that Pakistani off spinner? You shouldn't mock her, for telling the truth, this Lady lives under constant threat of being murdered in the name of a non-existent entity by people who cling to barbaric stone age beliefs. I wasn`t mocking her, Bamber. I was just pretending not to know her, for comedic effect. I agree with what you`ve written about her, and about those who would do her harm.

is there a better debater than george ? Yes, plenty. Just off the top of my head, here's one for you, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, intelligent, articulate, brave and unlike George, actually understands the subject she discusses and never resorts to shouting. Never heard of him. Is he that Pakistani off spinner?

I know that wael wasnt happy with the deal on offer so whatever that was its good that he didnt go through with it. If the owners dont want to skirt around the scmp/ffp rules by gifting money not in keeping with our incoming revenue thats fine by me as it makes perfect sense. My argument is to give the owners more time to present a way forward after the uwe setback. That could be building a new stand with retail outlets attached or something along those lines. I just dont see any gain in dismissing them as fakes etc right now. Wael didn't say that the owners were not prepared to create debt, what Swiss has shown us from the accounts demonstrates the exact opposite, my understanding is that the debt increased by £1,600,000 on the last set of accounts, they are adding interest due to themselves (probably as an accounting tool) that's also increasing the debt. I just don't understand your argument. I don't want to dismiss the owners as 'fake' (not an expression I've ever used) I want them to do well and take the club forward, of course I do, but I'm struggling to join all of the dots together at the moment. We seem to be deep into the same sort of silence on the Mem project as we had on UWE, 6 months of silence is a bit of a worry, something should have happened that they could update us on in that time I would have thought? We have a similar situation with that field next to the M5. At very least, we have a problem with communication, I'm sure we can agree on that? I`m not sure, I do agree. How do you know we have a problem with communication, when they`re not telling us anything?

By my understanding of Harry's definition I'm definitely not real. This is brilliant, not many lower League club forums today will have discussions raging about solipsism. Nice one Harry. Wonder what he has planned for us tomorrow, maybe a considered evaluation of the Borde-Guth-Vilenkin therum? Or maybe he'll just threaten to kick someone's head in? Clearly lots of things are real, other than one`s own self. Madrid are Real. So are Betis. And probably many other things too. On the other hand, God might not be real. Only He knows that.

Difficult subject and not sure how to word the thread title but there is a huge untapped potential for increased and even a more diverse fan base. Trouble is people I work with don't seem comfortable with the idea of actually going to games although it must be said they follow arsenal and Chelsea with great interest on tv. Is it possible to change this for Bristol rovers and maybe football in general or am I being naïve? The problem is, that by encouraging one group of minorites, you may well discourage another. I`m sure that homosexuals would be less likely to come along to our games if they knew that they were going to be beheaded in the centre circle, as part of the half time entertainment. Understandably so, in my opinion.

I think it's pretty sad really, the fact people are so excited just shows football is about money more than anything else. I hope the Rich Arabs do bring us success, but how can you get passionate about something that is more about balance sheets than people. I wish we were fan owned battling against the odds but still seeing steady success. I would feel passionate about that, this just feels like we've just gained the ability to cheat with the best. "Cheat" is not the right word, but the rest of what you say, I agree with 100%.

i like this loan, ellis hasnt really performed this season in truth And I don`t. I`d far rather have kept Ellis, and sent Easter up to Hartlepool.

Saying cambridge are a small club surely implies we are bigger? Not all things that are smaller than a small thing are big. Some are just less small. Absolutely. Was Biggie Small? No, he wasn`t.

Sadly that was Wurzel's swan-song. As soon as his employers see that he'll be gone. Thanks for the memories Cotts, it's been hilarious. Lansdown will be furious. He paid £8,000,000 for that fan.

Look don't want this to be a dig at DC or any of the players, just want to stoke some debate. With Bliss going today, it's made me think of the number of players DC has either fallen out with or failed to get the best out of. Bliss was far from the finished article, but Agogo was far worse when he first came. It took Jason Roberts god knows how many sessions with Gary Penrice to get him upto speed and I'm sure the older folk can regale countless other players that had a slow start, but improved with patience and good coaching/man management. In the relegation season he stripped Parkes of the captaincy and got the square root of sod all out of O'Toole who previously, even if not playing well would always be a goal threat. Harrison is a more complex one, it could be argue DC played the 'treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen' routine perfectly last season, but it's a shame we've failed to get anything out of him this season after scoring twice in his first two starts. Dawson, looked a really dangerous player and created numerous assists. Far from the finished article but we shouldve signed him as he had miles more potential than Gosling, Balanta (who he tried to resign) and Montano. Lines, easily the most naturally talented player in the squad, but was in and out of the side even before his injury. Mildenhall, would he have been any worse than Nichols and not cost us a penny? Barring Lines (who already knew the club), Dawson and I guess to a certain extent Cunnington, Martin and Chapman all of his loan signings have been a major disapointment, is that partly a failure to integrate them into the squad? Look DC has done a sterling job this season, as the league table reflects, but are we seeing a limitation of his management. Can he only manage the Lockyers, the Sinclairs, the Mansells of this world who are solid pros, committed 100% to the club and the team? I guess there's nothing wrong with that the likes of Moyes, Pullis, Allardyce, Bruce, Warnock etc etc have built solid and sucessful teams on those attributes, but is the key reason none of those became a Ferguson or a Wenger because they couldn't handle the more complex personalities? Sad to see that Kwoodgas has dimentia. Bits of him are getting smaller?

Whilst you are of course entitled to express your opinion in my view your anti-Gas comment is an insult to every Rovers fan on this forum. I'm in bits here. I don't know how I will cope with those sort of "insults" being thrown around. Mr Dido please take a good look at yourself. Agree absolutely. Just because his wife has sold lots and lots of records, doesn`t give him the right to come on here and accuse us all of being negative. Our message to him should be simple: There will be no white flag above our door.

Great performance, everybody played well and apart from the most inexplicably worked free kick I`ve ever seen, the game was a pleasure to watch. City losing in the 91st minute was the icing on the cake. A few ciders now, I think.
