I assume the OP was raising notice mainly to the 'handbags' but to be honest I was more shocked at the fact we ''could have been on the back of a hiding''. If we`d lost by three goals, it would have been a fair reflection of the game.

we were very very poor today,,,who played well,,,the new loan winger, mildenhall, lee brown, monkhouse, taylor ok,sinclair 2nd half before red card Monkhouse did ok, coming on as replacement at centre forward for the ineffectual Brunt. I think Brunt`s career is coming to an end. He permanently looks like he`s just had a bad tackle and is ready to be substituted.

Like him. Want him to be successful! Ain't gonna happen. Don`t particularly like him. Want him to be successful! Ain`t gonna happen.

Just got back. Don`t think I`ve ever been so glad to open a bottle of cider in my life. You really had to be there to appreciate how awful it was; a disorganized, clueless shambles.
We were played off the pitch by a bunch of part timers, who had lost their previous two games. Make no mistake, we were lucky to lose by just the one goal. If we`d lost by three, it would have been a fairer reflection of the game. What Clarke thinks he`s doing, is completely beyond me. If he was being paid by the Bristol City Supporters` Club, to take us from the football league to the Conference south in the quickest possible time, he could scarcely be making a better job of it. We`re in free fall, and nobody at the club seems to have a clue what to do about it.

Really enjoyed the game today, we were very solid first half but got a bit sloppy in the second, I'm confident that with a few additions and players back from injury this squad will be good enough for a playoff push next season. Will do a quick review of the players: Preston: wasn't his best game but his kicking is superb, will definitely do as no.2 Higgins: has to be signed first thing Monday morning, perfect replacement for smith, got up and down the line well and put some good balls into the box Parkes: Scored a screamer, was solid at the back, caught out of position a few times but once he's used to the formation I'm sure that won't be a issue Mitchell: unsure on this one, if we sign Turley I don't think we need him, was average at best today Lockyer: solid as usual, good in the air and topped off with a goal Brown: wasn't his best game, put a few good balls in the box, all his shots were on his right foot though Gosling: really like gosling, distribution is good and works hard Boco: wasn't great first half, improved in the second with some good runs, will do as a sub if there is no one better Monkhouse: looked a threat when he was on, some good touches and a really close header Brunt: still no quite at his best but had a decent chance well saved and won a fair few headers, a few more weeks and he should be okay White: scored a good goal and some decent runs, still looks a bit unfit Sinclair: love this bloke, works his socks off, picks out good passes and makes some great tackles, fluke of a goal though Taylor: works hard, and got the assist for whites goal I like the 3-5-2, and a few more weeks of working on it in training should mean we can start the season confident in playing it Agree with most of that, but not that Mitchell was average ( even at best ). He looked awful to me. Scarcely won a header all game. As for the 3 5 2, it worked fine on the right side where the impressive Higgins got forward well, and Lockyear moved across to cover at right back, but on the left side it looked a disaster waiting to happen. Brown looked like a fish out of water on the left side of midfield, and Parks looked like a lumbering giant, moving across to cover at left back. Brown is a good solid dependable left back, but a wing back? No way. Carry on playing that system with those players, and we`ll ship goals galore.

BRFC XI 0 Bath City 1. Hardly a first team game, glad the youth had a chance to show what there about, DC will know whether they can be part of his plans or if he needs to arrange for them to go out on loan. Just had a text saying Trotman had a good game and Preston could easily be our number 2. Now is the time for the board to back DC and make sure the Trotman deal gets done, and that they don't disrespect him by offering a pathetic wage. Hopefully Thompson Higgins will stay on trial and play another few games. Higgins looked ok. If Smith goes, I think he could make a decent replacement. The rest, I wouldn`t give you tuppence for. Dross.

Favourite.. Gary Mabbutt. Worst..Errington Kelly.
Micky Barrett was right up there, though. Saw him score against Wimbledon at Plough Lane in the pouring rain. Picked up the ball on the left wing, turned the right back inside out, waltzed into the box, and knocked it past the keeper with ease. Still remember how awful I felt, when I heard he`d died.

He`s desperate to play against Germany. He really fancies some shoulder of Lahm.

A slight difference in numbers though. #3 on the list is forums.liverpoolfc.com/ and it currently boasts: Threads : 63,377, Posts : 3,504,768, Members : 230,834We have a way to go yet! I can just imagine the average thread on a Liverpool forum. "Calm down, calm down."

Terrific acquisition. Am sure he`ll fire us back to the football league, at the first time of asking. Is that positive enough, Steve?

Salisburys manager has confirmed that Rovers have not made an approach for striker Jamie White Gosh. Are there any other strikers, that we haven`t made an approach for?

Not good enough first time around and wouldn't be good enough now even in the Conference. Too much could be good but wasn't. Well, if it`s a choice between Wayne Brown and the truly abysmal Ollie Clarke, I know where my vote would go.
