Thread heading is inappropriate. Shouldn’t the Admins be looking at this?

Mangan building up a nice CV with the FA, banned from football for 5 months for match fixing and fined £2000.00 now charged with being homophobic. The club better get used to this, I'm sure there will be plenty more unpleasant adverse publicity coming it's way. All charges refuted by Club and Andy Mangan www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2022/december/club-to-appeal-mangan-fa-charge/

What concerns me is the statement that the rebranding is being carried out in-house without the use of a professional design agency.
This was said as if it were something we should be pleased about so we would be seen to not be ‘wasting’ money.
Personally, I would be very worried about some amateur deciding on a new identity for the club.
Surely this is too important a subject for people without the necessary skills?

Yeah, lets bring Coughlan back as we beat Ipswich under his management..... Gerry Francis and John Ward took some big scalps in their first tenure with the Gas at Twerton Park so we got 'em back to rework that old magic at The Mem and we know how that finished up. So, the tractor boys beater moved nearer home and blotted his CV no end in a short spell at Mansfield Town. Where is GC now - joint manager of the Sheffield United Papa Don't Preach to Me About Pizza Trophy squad i believe. I guess these potential finance guys know what they are about? Think GC left Sheff U in the summer of 2021 and is not working at present.

Surprised he hasn’t had his contract extended - could leave on a free at the end of this season.

Helpline membership has been restored to Category One if you look at the away ticket section on the OS. Along with Share Scheme members Seems Helpline is actually now Category Two along with Share Scheme and Supporters Club

I thought JB was subdued in the interview he gave yesterday. Gashead sentiment swings from one extreme to the other and we usually ignore the tell tale signs of what is really going on in the background. Most now believe a stadium announcement is imminent and a surge to the Championship likely but we’ve been here many times before. It may be that JB has become aware that Rovers do have financial limitations and he is not going to get every player or every infrastructure improvement he wants. The departure of Tony Warner may be more significant than we think and this new contract may be a way of keeping the ballyhoo going while more important activity is taking place elsewhere. Warner already threw hips toys out of the proverbial pram, under Tisdale and then came back. The warning signs were there. I imagine there are a fair few GK coaches available. I don’t see it as a big deal tbh David Coles was the one you are thinking about not Warner

Same as meadgas - six out of seven starting at Southend.
A dull nil nil but it was the point that mattered.
No official transport arranged due to the wrecking of a couple of football special trains earlier in the season.
So train to Southend and somehow made it back to Paddington for what was probably the last train home.

Would never consider Posh to be one of the big boys of the division. Posh more recently in the championship than us? So were Wycombe - doesn’t make them one of the big boys does it?
