This game, although I was not there was the catalyst for me becoming a paying Rovers supporter. I was 12 and on Scout camp somewhere near Almondsbury, a few of the older Scouts bought Cider and around ten of us listened in on the radio whilst quaffing, everybody went crazy when we won on pens. Shortly after I started to attend at Eastville. oh happy days!.

I was 12 and on Scout camp somewhere near Almondsbury, a few of the older Scouts bought Cider and around ten of us listened in on the radio whilst quaffing, everybody went crazy when we won on pens. Shortly after I started to attend at Eastville. oh happy days!. Cider - good grief, we never had that sort of behaviour in the Girl Guides!
