Ball 32 was the numberplate of Dawlish Pete's sand spreader which he used to run at his own expense between Clevedon and Minehead after Weston council refused him a contract.People at Kilve remember the blue and white tarpaulin which he donned for the underwater stretches. He used to eat jellyfish and sea cucumber, a stall selling which he hoped might tide him over bad times, but he fell foul of St Audries anti-dumping regulations.

OK round 2 of The Cup and the number plate that is Ball 32 - I'd fancy a trip to Walsall or Wrexham - they looked very good yesterday albeit against a poor Oldham outfit.
If its a home draw i'd plump for Derby County, it might be a chance to correct the recent Pride Park performance.

As good a draw as we could hope for

potential embarrasment in Boreham wood at home I think that Cup results over the last few season have shown that drawing any non league club could be a potential embarrasment for league opposition. I love watching these matches on television, it's what the FA Cup is really about. This won't be an easy game, hopefully Rovers won't be providing one of the headlines.

Boreham Wood embarrassed AFCB last season and got to the 5th round v Everton so certainly not an easy match. As far as non league goes it’s as hard as it can get but we should win and so long as we treat it seriously I think we’ll win..

A couple of seasons back Cocko's Rovers struggled to dispatch Bromley at home and if my memory serves me correctly Bromley were the better side in the replay and were denied a perfectly good goal.
So a tricky 2nd round draw to encounter.......on the positive side we wont have the hapless Can't Stoppershot or what ever his name was as the last of defence

I’d almost forgotten about van Stapp. He had a difficult two years but tbf to him he only played in the replay when we didn’t concede. How we didn’t I don’t know but we didn’t, somehow!

Apart from Bromley, I've no idea what this relates to.

Can`t Stoppershot...Jordi van Stappershoef, ( our Dutch goalkeeper at the time ). Making more sense now?

Game to be played on Sunday (2pm KO), with most parts of the ground opened up. Tickets on sale from Saturday for Season Card holders to begin with. Only pity is the Gas Girls are also playing at the same time that day.
