Forget the emotion and decide this on the safety of the community at large, so the clubs with the supporters most likely to cause trouble make the list. No matter which way you look at this, Liverpool will come out on top, worst supporters in Europe in the 1980s, if anybody should have learned, it's them, but they'll never change, so just chuck them out. Rest of list; Villa 1982 Chelsea Millwall Leeds West Ham. Honestly wish they would all just vanish. All of those have long history of violent supporters, the clubs do nothing. Get rid. Apart from City I’ve never had a hard time from any of those fans, and I’ve seen Rovers away at all of them. Swansea on the other hand can go and f themselves. I don't particularly dislike them, but Swansea at The Vetch, I have lost count of the amount of times I had trouble there (without looking for it) and Cardiff was always a horrible place to go. I see Bambi mentioned Villa, I always thought Birmingham were far worse.

Rovers and City. Then I could get on with living my life instead of getting stressed over games of football

interesting bit this am on 5live, where Matt le Tissier has basically called the urge to re start as CONTRACURAL MONEY OBLIGATION from the likes of SKY ......Players needing to be tested 2 times a week,, and where does the 2 meter rule come in re social distancing? tackles should be non existent , man to man marking? it seems that it is all about money and not welfare related at all .. call it off and go WHEN it is safe to do so as per pre virus times I think it is pretty much nigh on impossible to strictly observe the 2 metre rule in any workplace, let alone football. You can- and should- try, but inevitably that 2 metre rule will be broken.

If this virus does finish our club off, which has to be a very really possibility, I can see one major benefit. I can continue with my - already far too intense- dislike of those over the river, enjoying every loss, laughing when they get so close but fail etc, without the annoying distraction of my own club continually f**king up both on & off the pitch. We could even have a 'non Bristol City' forum, it could be quite a happy place

Yes it is one of those tunes that fans pick up on for chants, 'Seven Nation Army' seems to be the current go to tune for football songs and it drives me nuts! Penny Arcade is a bit of an ear worm as well, I know you like that one. I think it's a great tune ! Mind you , they do need something to cheer them up after listening to that god awful dirge by Tina Turner !

What was the tune to the Steve Elliott song- it's causing a family row! Not sure you actually got to know the original tune - it's Santa Lucia - lot's of versions on Youtube! I think just because chants are so generic. I actually had the tune, then convinced myself it wasn't right while my son was saying it was right. I know Celtic aren't everyones cup of tea, but I do like hearing all the different chants they come up with and nearly always to a different tune, I nearly always hear the songs sung about a year later in England. I used to hear them but from people like Shirley, in the Polish club. I’ve been offered to go many times as people kind of expect me to be Celtic due to being RC but I’ve never had a second team. I do need to visit a good number ou there though, I wad hoping to go in May but that’s now not going to happen. Have you ever noticed the Polish clubs and other things ? Many Polish settled there as it’s where the Polish 1st armoured was formed. I HAVE to do it & as soon as I possibly can Can't say I have, do you know what part of town it is in? I tend to stay in the centre and walk to the ground which takes you through the Gallowgate or 'Little Ireland' as some call it. Much as I love the walk to the ground, it's a pretty grim area, if the Polish had any sense they would have found a better place to put a club!

What was the tune to the Steve Elliott song- it's causing a family row! How could you forget it ? Got to admit, I’ve been on sites that are dedicated to football chants but all they post are the words and I have had to use YouTube to remember some but I’m talking tote end songs. My favourite, of the ones at the mem is Bodins on fire your defence is terrified. That was an ear worm song. The Rory Gaffney one was good too. I think just because chants are so generic. Yes they should. But, and forgive me if I'm wrong as I've tried to avoid saturation coverage of all this, didn't they say at the start that the reason they didn't jump straight in with testing was exactly for that reason - that they didn't believe the tests were accurate? As for press conferences sounding like 'look what we've done' - would that be because others are accusing them of not doing enough? Maybe they're not, but accusations are bound to elicit a response, surely.
Anyhow, back to checking in. I'm fine, hope everyone else is too. And sympathies to those who have posted not such good news on here. Tough times Yes that is quite possible of course. Checking in wise I am fine too, apart from getting into even more debates on the internet than I did before lockdown (and I used to get into far too many then!)

Point scoring no, but people really do have to be held to account for some awful tragic mistakes. I just saw on the news that someone I knew ell 20 odd years ago has just died after THREE tests came back negative. Now that could have been just an incredible bit of bad luck, but questions certainly need to be asked and be asked now before it's too late. I don't disagree. But it's a blurry line between "holding the Government to account" and "political point scoring". I was in favour of a Government of National Unity and bringing in prominent opposition party members. I'm a bit of a dreamer.I'm with you there. On the point scoring thing, and this may just be me, I have had this horrible creeping feeling that the press conferences have started to have an element of 'Look what we have done' creeping into them, an impression I didn't get when Boris was doing them (Look at me sticking up for Boris again). Of course none of us know the ins and outs of what is going on behind the scenes , but I wouldn't be surprised that if when documents get realised long after we are all gone, horrendous mistakes have been made that really could cause panic if the facts were told now. Still, the government are in the unenviable position of trying to steer us through unchartered waters and any sane person would hope they succeed in that, but I do think alarm bells should be ringing about the standard of the tests.

Excellent news Jeff. Undoubtedly our Government has made some mistakes along the way , but surely now is not the time for political points scoring. With a thorough independent review (and hopefully a quick one) we can learn and deal with situations like this better in the future, whoever is in power. I remember watching Jon Pertwee's last episode when he regenerated into Tom Baker. It was our first day with a new colour telly, this in itself I found pretty mindblowing, but when I saw Pertwee turn into Baker, 10 year old me just couldn't get my head around it! To this day, I still think of Tom Baker as the 'new' Doctor. I refer you all to my previous post. William and Patrick were the only 2 actors to have done the job. All others relied on gimmicks/totty to distract from the fact they were being out-acted by the daleks.Yeah but that Elisabeth Sladen, PHWOAARR

My real Dr Who was Tom Baker 1974-1981, the longest serving and best Dr until David Tennant came along, who was his equal. I remember watching Jon Pertwee's last episode when he regenerated into Tom Baker.
