A season in reviews

This season, I and a lot of other people really enjoyed reading stevek192's match reports, so I figured it would be cool to gather them all up in one thread and put them in the match thread archive forum so people can read and link to them easily if they ever fancy going back over the season.

I'll leave this thread here for a bit and then move it over when the time comes.

Thank you Steve for a brilliant effort over the season. Always well written and informative, especially for those of us who couldn't make every match.

Rovers 1-2 Birmingham (League Cup) - More like it
Yeovil 0-1 Rovers - Men versus boys
Luton 0-1 Rovers - Dominating and the deserved result
Rovers 3-1 Barnet - Three wins on the trot
Orient 2-0 Rovers - naivety costs dearly
Rovers 0-1 Oxford - Even with 10 players we deserved something
Rovers 0-1 Accrington - shambles
Plymouth 1-1 Rovers - A good point and deserved
Rovers 1-2 Portsmouth - Predictable
Hartlepool 0-3 Rovers - Rollercoaster...join the ride.
Morecambe 3-4 Rovers - Who said we couldn't score?

Mansfield 1-2 Rovers - Pulsating Drama

Cambridge 1-2 Rovers - A game of two halves
Rovers 0-1 Chesham (FA Cup) - On par with Bath City last year
Southend 1-0 Rovers (JPT) - Deserved much more
Rovers 2-0 Carlisle - no report
Crawley 2-1 Rovers - A draw was the least we deserved
Rovers 1-2 Stevenage - Tactically just not good enough
Exeter 1-1 Rovers - Frustrated and robbed
Rovers 3-0 Wycombe - Matty Taylors night
Rovers 2-1 York - Late but deserved victory
Dagenham 0-3 Rovers - Easy win - in the end!!!!
Wimbledon 0-0 Rovers - Pretty dire but a point towards our total
Rovers 2-1 Orient - The joy of watching Bristol Rovers!!
Rovers 2-0 Luton - Another Home victory in front of a big crowd
Barnet 1-0 Rovers - Football lost, physicality won.
Oxford 1-2 Rovers - Every player played their part
Rovers 1-1 Plymouth - Good entertainment but lacking some quality
Accrington 1-0 Rovers - Another Accrington nightmare
Portsmouth 3-1 Rovers - Only Mildenhall really turned up
Rovers 2-1 Morecambe - Poor game and performance but the result was more important
Wycombe 1-0 Rovers - Another lacklustre game for travelling army
Rovers 4-1 Hartlepool - There's no place like Home
Notts County 0-2 Rovers - A welcome three points to set up two home games
Rovers 3-1 Wimbledon - Stunning result
Rovers 1-0 Mansfield - Result was bigger than the performance
Newport 1-4 Rovers - Revenge is sweet
Rovers 3-0 Cambridge - What a day!
Carlisle 3-2 Rovers - After a poor start just didn't deserve that
Rovers 3-0 Crawley - Right result in the end
Northampton 2-2 Rovers - Unlikely but deserved point

Stevenage 0-0 Rovers - Selection questionable, outcome still in contention
Rovers 3-1 Exeter - Great game of football
York 1-4 Rovers - Great performance but felt like defeat
Rovers 2-1 Dagenham - Some Dreams do come true

Even if you don't read the match reports, I think the titles for all the threads really paint a picture of the ebb and flow of the season, with moments of despair, frustration and elation. Probably my favourite ever Rovers season.
