I'd be supportive of daryll signing Ched Evans.
Characters are not static and bad press can be as much a result of reporting past misdemeanours as they can be logging rumours or stories which players can't control.
The press and society can wreck an innocent man

Managers manage men - cantona did well under fergies character, ally McCoist did terrible since he was "one of the boys"

Tyler Lyttle is Des Lyttle's son - how often was Des Lyttle linked to Rovers in the mid-late 90's!!

Players develop. Their skill, fitness and awareness are not a constant. The above post about the experienced gained for Gibraltar will give him swagger but an aim and taste for what is quality. Although I've seen only glimpses, he's got pace, a bit of skill and isn't a bad egg. With a year of experience under his belt at Rovers I'm pleased he's helping keep consistency for next year's season. Well done all round BRFC.

I could live without the Russia and Qatar world cup. How funny would it be for them to have to recover money from FIFA who no longer had UEFA.
Blatter is a twat and anyone who thinks appointing a Cayman Island Football Association head as VP is sadly lacking in judgement. We do not need nor want FIFA. UEFA should remove itself this summer.

I went to Sydney FC v Spurs last night. There isn't really much of a territorial feeling in sport down under, nothing like football. In fact the A-League games are really poor in terms of atmosphere and supporter identity. Rugby is even worse, a packed stadium but silence. It's like a village fete atmosphere and whilst people get a long, it's civil and light hearted there is little passion. Strangely, last night's atmosphere before the game was great, a bit of hostility led to singing, a few choice words from the dans stoked up what atmosphere could be stoked up in a friendly match, and for a second I had that little bit of memory from being at a football match.
The feeling a football fan gets when there's a bit of hostility, of geographical defensiveness, a unity amongst their own kind is priceless and I hope it never changes. Perhaps that's why lower league football is great as there is identity amongst the local fans and even some local players. That's the strength of what we have and should always try to build on. Rugby will never get this, Premiership clubs look like they are losing this.
Football wins all day long.

In these circumstances reasonableness and intention are important concepts. Intention being what was implied by the conduct of the parties if not captured in a contractual clause.

Blissett has now ball control whatsoever and Balanta has offered little. My WIFI is mucking up too. I dread penalties, who would take then

HT Ratings:
Puddy 3 - shocking first 25 mins, he's calmed down and he almost lost us the whole season with some irrational decision making Brown 7 - looks solid. Their winger (McCreath) is tricky but bar two runs he's looking good. Parkes 6 - dominant in the air but the pace of their strikers is troubling him McChrystal 6 - looked a bit nervy in first 20 minutes but a solid match so far Lockyer 6 - Keep thinking that Leadbitter would have been good given their pacey strikers. Looks OK
Gosling 5 - yet to get into it but looks like he can create if given a run Lines 8 - confident and dangerous. Big player for us in the second half Mansell 6 - haven't seen much but that could be a good thing Monkhouse 6 - done OK, troubling their rightback when the ball is in the air
Ellis 7 - looks threatening but needs to run a bit more Taylor 6 - looks threatening by why did he not keep going when through on goal
