For what it's worth here is my suggestion. A boycott is a silent and invisible form of protest. What I propose is very visible and disobedient and doesn't require you spending money at all, not entirely true but please read on.
On the supermarkets busiest shopping day (Saturday) several groups of around 100 Rovers fans go shopping in pre selected Sainsburys stores having each changed at a local bank £50 (£100, £200 or whatever)in to a mixture of small denomination coins (1p 2p 5p)
They each spend said £50 on non perishable goods (the more awkward the better)
Collectively they occupy the tills paying for their goods which for 100 people paying in small coins will take a long time, most normal shoppers will give up and go. It would cause some chaos.
Once shopping is paid for each fan then shows their colours and goes to customer service till to get refund on all the non perishable goods which I believe is your statutory right. Again not illegal but visible and disobedient.
Rovers fans then sit in Sainsburys cafe and have a nice long cup of coffee occupying all seats.
i believe such a visible, peaceful and non violent protest would encourage much publicity to our cause and bad publicity for Sainsbury. What do you think?

Would any one really be that bothered if prices went up by 10 or even 15p? Its a pathetic excuse, just put up the price and bring back happy hour. All those in favour...

I don't understand your question. Did some of the question get deleted? It makes no sense to me. It doesn't make sense. I think some of the question is missing perhaps when viewed on mobile or tablet which could explain the poor number of votes. For me it finishes 'My question is' then nothing but poll choices.

Our friend from Lincoln just loves this forum, must have so much time on his hands! Suggest you give it a rest now mate and go and laugh at, critise, judge someone else! I am sure Lincoln are far from bloody perfect! Don't believe he's laughing at anyone AG. I actually appreciate intelligent analysis from an outsiders perspective.

Hypothetical scenarios to add (unsubstantiated) fuel to the fire. Sainsburys want to pull out and pay compensation. The initial value was based on building a supermarket, they are considering building homes instead and want to renegotiate the price. The land that UWE own has increased in value over the delayed period and they want to renegotiate.
