I don't know if any of you are familiar with the work of Paine Proffitt an artist who specialises in footballing art from the 30's-50's. He's worked with many clubs in the past doing programme and tshirt designs that are frankly brilliant. He's recently done a Rovers design just for giggles and it's fantastic. I've pointed the club his way which, hopefully something will come of. Paine Proffitt Artist

Is the Rovers one for sale as I couldn't find it on his website?
PS Just read it more thoroughly and saw he did it for giggles.... hope he does look to sell some.
Cheers

I'll tweet him about it, he's usually pretty good at getting stuff up for sale.

Nice. Not sure about a tshirt but I would buy one on canvas.

A few paintings like that splattered around the UWE would look great.

Something like that would make a great raffle prize too. Very nice.

I can almost feel the mood of the 1950s and 1960s coming through in this illustration, right down to the leather football.
I would also echo what Cosmic Pasty posted, it really would make an excellent raffle prize, and one which any fan of BRFC would be pleased to receive.

Love it and would love it as a print for the new study.

Looks great! Now, if he could turn that tower into a gasometer, and add some Totaliser clocks on the front of that roof, he's got an order from me.
Perhaps he doesn't know the history. I'm sure he'd sell more copies if he did this.
Edit: Maybe even railway arches at the back too.

You only have to look at other clubs who've paid for his work to see what a great job he does. Look at the ones of Craven Cottage for the Nigeria - Scotland / Ireland - Italy friendlies.
