What a great signing that we didn't know at the time. You have to give credit to previous bods for that. Well done to CM himself for working hard to get himself into a position to compete fitness-wise. He's scored so many important goals, my fav so far lobbing the keeper (after an offside hand ball by super Johnny Marquis) to rescue a point v Stevenage! How nice would it be for a new contract offer to coincide FA cup, v Norwich City? A club where he made his name. What could possibly happen as we've seen a fairy tale or two recently?

Ollie presumably turned him down? One of his better decisions probably. Love Ollie but his time has been and gone and I’d hate for him to spoil his reputation with us by getting involved with JB. Also it would have been very short-lived and probably unsuccessful. UTG! Thought the story was her indoors said for 2 days only.....and he was expected to do it for free!!?

There's a change petition to get him reinstated. Highlight of my day, what a bunch of absolute deluded idiots. Pretty sure that must have been started by supporters of bcfc1982. I know this Forum generally seems to have strong negative opinions about him, but there has been just 1 (one) person who seems to think it was the wrong decision to fire him. And I said elsewhere - we don't actually know the reason for his sacking. Given the history of him shooting his mouth off - we're bound to hear his version of events soon.

Sadly not. This is where the Club is now. Will supporters be holding their noses as they approach the Memorial Stadium, or have they just got used to the stench? I'm obviously not a 'proper supporter' because I refuse to blindly follow Joey and his gang.

I can’t believe Rovers are even considering signing this bloke, it’s got to be a wind up surely ? Sadly not. This is where the Club is now. If we sold Collins for £3 million the money would disappear into the same black hole that all of our previous million pound plus transfers have gone into.

I hav'nt any names Bath but.... A GK.In the scenario we could get an even better GK than James then this would be brilliant news.Worth their weight in gold. 2 CHs,at least one experienced and strong in the air.Got to do better defensively, dead ball situations, decision making, communication etc. A midfield player, maybe 2. Rossitter may need cover, not to mention competition. A winger/ flank player, maybe 2.Collins and Anderson's replacements if needed. 2 strikers. We probably need abit more experience in the squad.

Tote end, me old fruit, each to their own and i hope we make it just for you. I somehow feel a kindred spirit in you and i love your honesty. I am the first to admit that i am a difficult man but once you have a friend in me then there is nothing that i would not do, to help. I am Gas after all and i want us to do well but i cannot support this format as i truly believe it will see the end of a fair few clubs. It reminds me of the poem first they came for. The money, albeit needed, will just be swallowed by the many DWANE companies ( who can blame them after what Wael has put in) I do admit that i am starting to like Joe though, I think we are a form of therapy for him and vice versa. We show him love that maybe he has not had before. Sadly, the lack of a stadium could see him go, frustrated like DC. I sure hope we hear something has been signed and soon. Have a great week mate Wael they think it’s all over - it is now! - I guess I was being a bit naive to consider the possibility of winning a cup. After one hundred and fourty years of trying, it was never going to happen. I also think it was the rlght call not to risk our best players as we strive towards the play-offs. It may well come down to fractions, and a real meaningful trip to Wembley. Then we can all get together for a proper knees up me old mucker! UTG

In terms of placements then Gerry is a shoe in but Gould had the hardest job when no one wanted the job, when we went to Bath, very underrated and much maligned but did a great job on a very small budget. Holloway by a country mile, took Blackpool into the premiership when they were favourites to be relegated, spent no money and had average gates of 8,000,i can't think of any other manager anywhere that could compete with that.

If things on here are to be believed, it seems that the SC leadership and the PC leadership have never liked the AQ regime (and they were at one point in cahoots with Landing Lights Hamer to have the club sold on) The apparent extent of the dislike I find very surprising. It seems enormously more than is necessary or reasonable as a reaction to losing what they might have perceived as personal influence at the club I don't like Wael's appointment of Joeybag at all, but otherwise he seems a very likable and committed bloke Is there any more to it, or am I (or maybe are we) missing anything?

The succession planning is identical to the plan B that was in place if our new stadium project fell through.

I dont disagree with a lot that you say,but 'our problems began 5 years ago' ? we could look back and pick other dates, not letting Harry Dolman on the board ... selling Eastville ... spending years (and money) on the UWE plan ...never giving the manager funds to capitalise on promotions by strengthening the team. One thing that you (and many others) say is that the owner is 'passionate' about the club,it seems that many people regard this as established fact, but he tried to buy Gillingham before buying Rovers,so a couple of questions 1.if he had bought Gillingham do you think that he would still have been 'passionate' about Rovers ? 2.when he sells Rovers do you think that he will still be 'passionate' about the club or will he go back to being 'passionate' about Chelsea ?
