Let's enter fantasy land and imagine that we've sold Aaron Collins for £3 million.
Which player/players would you like to bring in, and why, assuming that the £3m can be spent on the squad?

I hav'nt any names Bath but....
A GK.In the scenario we could get an even better GK than James then this would be brilliant news.Worth their weight in gold.
2 CHs,at least one experienced and strong in the air.Got to do better defensively, dead ball situations, decision making, communication etc.
A midfield player, maybe 2. Rossitter may need cover, not to mention competition.
A winger/ flank player,maybe 2.Collins and Anderson's replacements if needed.
2 strikers.
We probably need abit more experience in the squad.

Nick Haughton at AFC Fylde. Alfie May from Cheltenham. Connor Taylor. Josh Benson from Barnsley. Macaulay Langstaff. Paul Mullin. Jensen Weir.
Whether or not £3M is enough for that lot is another matter
I'd also like to see Ryan Jones given a proper chance too, and would want the club to have a look at Caleb Watts

Maybe the whole team could be replaced for £3m, buy a new team and pay more wages to a better class of player.

Suspect we will need to replace a good number of those who ended the season with us

Could we get Haaland for 45 minutes?

Top of my list would be Connor Taylor from Stoke, apparently we had a go at getting him last year and he's not really been involved much in the first team set up there this season. Still mulling over realistic striker signings!

Still mulling over realistic striker signings! Watching him on TV this season hasn’t exactly filled me with optimism to have him permanently BG. He seems lacking in confidence and seems to have shrunk, in comparison to how he was, last season. I am no manager and do not profess to be knowledgable in this area though. If we do get a chance then maybe have him but have a full preseason with him before making any decisions. We seem to be spending a lot and not getting much in return

I think I need to go back to the drawing board!

When he came to us he was quick, razor sharp and avoided getting into a tangle and got on with the business of scoring goals, by mid this season with us he was slower, giving the opposition piggy backs across the park each week and going to ground far to easily trying to buy free kicks. I think he is a good player, something needs to change if he is to improve.

………We’d be very very lucky. and I think a tenth of that will be given to JB for players. I’m more interested in the FM and how that pans out over the summer because that’s going to be the catalyst for change not whether we keep Collins or not in my humble opinion. FWIW I think Collins will go during the summer for about half the OP’s valuation. Fantasy wise in answer to the OP I’d bring in Jonson Clarke-Harris, shows intent to the rest of league 1 proven goal scorer his 20+ goals would put us somewhere near the top 6 I’d have thought (now that’s fantasy folks!)

Is the FM Stadium news expected over the Summer Nick Chipp? Agreed it's bigger news than AC or any player. I would prefer AC stayed for another season, however unlikely. 🤞 JCH back at Rovets, losing abit of weight would be just the job.Suppose he might leave Posh and if so,we get some handy cash.

If we sold Collins for £3 million the money would disappear into the same black hole that all of our previous million pound plus transfers have gone into.

Gonna stick my neck out. I think AC will be with us until the January transfer window at least...
You heard it first!
