What a great result today. I'd hoped to get along but recent surgery put a stop to that. Beating Surrey is always that little bit sweeter. There's always a bit of edge. Anyone remember that confrontation between Mark Hardinges (?) and one of their players as they left the pitch a few years back? Would have loved to have seen Batty's face at the end! Well done Glos!!

I'm intrigued by 'Invitations to Fans Forums' (note the plural). What be they?

Good luck to Alfie. GC could have moved JC to CB, but has given Alfie his chance.

Interesting stats, but just a few caveats: - the City game was bound to have a high attendance - last night's game was live on Sky. Were the others live on TV? - (it was raining )

Totally agree with the idea of a Testimonial for Keith.

Wouldn't trust him further than I could throw him, and I've got a bad back! At that SC AGM he was arrogant, short-tempered and dismissive. He's not daft at all and knows exactly what he's doing.
You give him too much credit. Sadly I don't think so...............................

Hold your horses. All I did was say that this is Ken's area of expertise, I didn't even suggest that he was doing anything inappropriate. I think that as a person he's a bit ridiculous, but I've never had as much as a moment's doubt about any conflict of interests, I don't think he's a dishonest or manipulative person at all. Daft yes, (draw your own conclusions from Tommy's interview) but I think he's sincere and trustworthy. sincere and trustworthy.
i remember a forum after a sc annual meeting a few years back where he was on the mic, bloke was a fool and had the whole room ready to fill him in, hes a cretin

Online shop advertised replica shirts for sale. Sizes included those previously sold out. Online payment taken, morning shirt dispatched. At least according to email received. Phone calls from Kay prompt and polite. Size sold and 'dispatched' actually sold out. Customer happy to wait until back in stock. Customer advised that this will be... never. After Christmas, stock is no longer replaced. Customer has to wait until next season. Child for whom shirt bought to be disappointed. Club apparently happy to decline business. Club to wait and see whether child still cares. Child to hope quarters remain right way round. Get one Classic Football Shirts, plenty of kids kits really cheap and you’ll turn them into a little football hipster/weirdo. .....or

Did we have a vote to decide whether we should attend these matches? Would make no difference. Those who lost would only demand another vote.

Mike shouldn't be telling anyone anything if it is ''in confidence'', surely? Perhaps the irony is that nobody should have told Mike in the first place if it really was in confidence. I saw Ken Masters at the Burton game as well. Why should KM know anything anyway? Surely his term of office has finished and he's just yet another fan now?!

Two wins against average opposition has not suddenly turned us into a team looking good enough for the top 10. Its just two wins. Payne has scored and has at times looked like scoring, twice hitting the bar in recent games although he has not been good for us. Dc lost his job because of poor results but there will always be a link between him losing his job, signing and continuing to play nichols despite the dreadful goal return from the player. I find it strange how people get carried away after 2 wins. ...................................... Coincidentally DC took over from JW after a thrashing of 4.1 and he lost his job after a 4.0 thrashing 'What goes around comes around'. DC said publicly of JW that 'John had lost his mojo'. Chickens....... roost........

Great manager nearly got us into top division.can you name any later rovers manager who has done that Best League Positions Division 2 1955/1956 Bert Tann 6th 1958/1959 Bert Tann 6th 1994/1995 John Ward 4th 1997/1998 Ian Holloway 5th 1999/2000 Ian Holloway 7th Ward and Holloway got us higher than Bert Tann. Regards Simple mistake to make! Bert Tann's achievements were in the OLD Division 2 ie present-day Championship. The others' were in lower tiers Regards.

Can't help feeling that we're seeing the slow demise of the SC in its present form. The sale of 199 and the acrimony surrounding the 'departure' of the staff. Lack of information regarding BSS's departure and no decision, apparently, about the situation regarding a second SC Director The whole embezzlement issue and how it was dealt with. Saying that the AGM would be in October and then announcing December. The widespread feeling that KM fails to engage with fans and lack of clarity around the end of his tenure, with no notice being given of election/s at the AGM. Uncertainty around the nature of the relationship between the SC and the present owners (and any possible future owner/s) Good people continuing to keep the SC alive, but little sign of engagement with, and recruitment of, younger members and volunteers.
Perhaps now is the time for a constructive debate about the need for, and the role of, any supporters' organisation beyond fundraising for the club and doing jobs which otherwise the club would have to pay people to do.

Crikey. I shouldn't have mentioned Jacob-Rees Mogg. He's not the new owner anyway. I was making it up. He will be playing up front with Nichols though. thank Lord for that. He might be better up front with Nicholls than he is in his current job IMO Would give us a bit of height up front; and we'd have God on our side!

Went to have a look last week. Absolutely no sign of any activity there since I last drove by many months ago. The undergrowth is now 3 or 4 ft high and in all seriousness the place has become a wildlife haven, which could be a problem for any future development. An old South Glos notice dated 2016 still on the gate.
