Mr Trevor Clarke has gone to Shamrock Rovers with a view to a permanent transfer. Long term injury followed by long term contract then frozen out of the team then a starter now gone. 3rd choice (at least) LB, wish him well. Probably best for all. I think he has some ability, but doesnt suit us.

Agreed, although I wouldn't say unsung, just the hero. Great keeper, which reverts us back to the tradition of having good keepers.

9th, after a steady start I am hoping for a flirt with play-offs, and not too much looking over the shoulder.

I'm wishing but Callum Camps and Liam Sercombe possible signings? The Evans upgrade I would prefer to stick with, fingers crossed.

In all seriousness, I guess JB is hard at it already trying to build the squad for next season. Has been for months I'm sure Bloo. Maybe Bas, but a change of division must change the wish list a touch. Sheffield Wednesday next season, fantastic (is this when you say no disrespect to Barrow - and I mean that as well)

2021/22 Bristol Rovers Player of the Year is James Belshaw. Well deserved. #UpTheROVERS <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> When he arrived thought he may have been a touch too small, how very wrong, best keeper for me since Big Nige, and we have had a few crackers.

Same for everyone that wants a ticket. Why should someone lose their job over the demand exceeding availability. There are many events i havent been able to get a ticket, I dont want people to lose their jobs because of it. You could by a ST on ddm and avoid disappointment. There are many reasons why some do not buy ST that are nothing to do with affordability but because they will only be able to go to a few games. I think you know what i am saying Understood - the monthly is as per paying as you go. If you cant make certain games you can let someone have your ST for the price of entry, all fair there I think.

Tickets were announced on Facebook by some unofficial site about 30 mins before the club announced the sale. Someone should lose there f**king job over that. It can't be that difficult for a ticket sale and simultaneous announcement. Same for everyone that wants a ticket. Why should someone lose their job over the demand exceeding availability. There are many events i havent been able to get a ticket, I dont want people to lose their jobs because of it. You could by a ST on ddm and avoid disappointment.

If the club is becoming more professional, business like is something that follows. Unfair dealings with employees is more than protected and free advise and guidance from ACAS, or piles of lawyers who take the challenge. If the club have wronged staff, recourse and accountability is achievable from those genuinely mistreated. If outcomes aren't how somebody wanted it to be, this is modern day.

With the number of fans on various social media sites still asking if there’s any tickets available, it makes you wonder what the crowd would be if the stadium capacity was larger & it was still pay on the day. Really looking forward this one, weather looking decent the fanzone area should be buzzing, let’s hope the team does the business on the pitch & we’ve made our league position look healthier come 5.0 clock Half an hr to ko and it’s really busy already

I started this thread one year ago today. B***** was appointed on 22nd February 2021. Sad to say, I have nothing further to add. B***** is unfit to manage Bristol Rovers. Maybe it is time to reflect and not be quite as stubborn. Sure there are aspects of his character that may be questioned, but undoubtedly he is starting to deliver on the fir=eld, and i hope behind the scenes something to build on. He has the strength of character to make changes for our club for the better....

Haven’t been able to get there for a few weeks. Excited and already in the pub. Was it because i was in the pub early......that first half was comfortably the best football we have played for some time. The old should have been 3 or 4 up by HT was true. Shame the pen was at such a comfortable height. Collins was incredible, if he keeps that confidence going, he can have the 9 on his back.

We might actually start an away game as favourites, wouldn't have believed that a few months ago. Fingers crossed we can keep it tight first half, as you say they are beginning the fight to avoid relegation, and then go on and win it 2-0.

If you could put Eastville Stadium circa 1980 back where it was would you go back like a shot ? Id like the plot without hesitation. Keep the tote and modern version of the N&S stands. Bliss.

Martyn Starnes going should be a surprise to no-one. Poor in interviews. I was never quite sure what he did. Part of a poor senior management team that still needs strengthening. Tom Gorringe promoted to CEO. Mmm... not sure about that - but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Let's wait and see. He is good at communicating. (Though he's stopped communicating with me directly since we hired B***** and I made my feelings known)... Yes the plot either thickens or actually and most likely remains thin.
