As reported in the Post,Rovers are one of three clubs interested in signing Ellis Harrison.
Probably a good signing if it were to happen.

Apparently he's not keen on dropping down to the 4th tier.
Makes me abit concerned about his attitude.
In the scenario he was to wear the Quarters once again,he had better give 100%.
That sorted,i think it could well be good for Ellis and Rovers.

Rovers would be a great place for him to show off his skills.I mean he did'nt hang about after his 1 good season before ,did he.

One good season, really?
He was a good player for more than one season. Not always scoring but contributing. Think he and Gaffney struggled to score goals later on as DC had them chasing all round the pitch.
Maybe he has a choice of Fleetwood or us, unless he does not move. Relegation threatened Fleetwood or a possibility of an exciting second half to the season with us. Interesting choice.
As someone else said would help our defence at set plays.

I remember having the impression Rovers were doing him a favour until his last season with us LIG.Abit harsh perhaps, but I thought he could of paid us back by staying another season.Never know what would of been, but he did'nt make it in the 2nd tier and has apparently struggled in the 3rd. Having said that,if his attitude is good I think Ellis signing for Rovers now could be good for player and club.

"I feel good"!
League of Ireland,Drogheda United right back James Brown has been training with Rovers. He will soon be a free agent.
Hmm,Blackburn Rovers are interested too and it's not clear which club Brown is training with.

It has been said he was a very popular presence in the dressing room and I’d love him back but some have some kind of irrational hatred for him and all over his being in chasers and having a kebab. I’m guessing he would not come back unless it was about being close to family. I always thought he was given a bad time with us but who knows what would have been, without his Wembley goal

Others and let's not kid ourselves, don't like him because of his skin colour. Hope he does come back and hope he makes the meatheads keep schtum.

As KP says, maybe being close to home might swing it.

He was a consistent performer come the end. Always put in a shift and he could defend very well and sometimes needed to. Even now I can remember several good defensive plays when we were under pressure. But his place in us being as good as we were in League 1 is often underrated. I’d love to see him back here but in a way hope he can do better for himself, and if it came to us or Fleetwood or even Shrewsbury then I’d hope we stood a good chance. UTG!

Never ever go back. Despite his (debatable) qualities I believe going back for both parties is always fraught with danger. Much different scenario but MU and Ronaldo springs to mind.
