Such a boring thread that'll happened every month it'll seem. So boring yet you couldn't resist posting! Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once. BBC have the rights to the Football League (and Premier League) highlights. Bristol Rovers FC are no longer a Member of the Football League. Therefore the BBC do not have access to matches involving BRFC, unless they are previously covered by BT Sport. Sorry if this is confusing.

I will watch that when it comes out, and be thinking about one of the most inspirational football fans I have ever had the fortune to meet.
Richard Lillicrap was a driving force behind the Swans Trust and was one of those who stood up in Swansea's hour of need. Sadly he never saw them in the Premier League.
BTW Love the name of the film company, YJB films, ie You Jack B......s

Guessing C is the lowest it goes, less embarrassing not being called up. I think the number in your handle is 9 too low

That's nice.
Anyhoo, do you think Clarke should go 4-4-2 or play three at the back tomorrow?

I think the fact this thread was mentioned on OTIB before any replies were made tells you all you need to know about the original poster... Couldn't care less if the OP is a red! Are we to sweep it under the carpet? The Conference love handing out points deductions! As for previous, not got a problem with Wycombe. Mansfield & Braintree bought about by frustrations that the average human being should be able to cope with!!! Of course we shouldn't sweep it under the carpet. If 'consistent criticism' warrants a life ban then this should at least merit a ban in the afterlife as well!

That question is irrelevant. Explain how you "Sack the board" of a private limited company. I think you will find the answer is the same whether you were there or not. Forget all this "sack the board nonsense." Firstly, us fans have no power whatsoever, and secondly the board members are waiting for the UWE Stadium payoff days and may stay afterwards as the stadium may make more money from non-footballing aspects.
Be afraid if the Sainsbury's contract fails/there are court cases after court cases/UWE pulls out etc, then you will get your wish, the board will go, but so will Bristol Rovers.
Yet again defeatist claptrap. Again, if fans of Portsmouth, Wycombe, Exeter, Wimbledon, Telford, Halifax etc. etc. had no power whatsoever they would not have clubs to support today. Why do people insist on lying that there is no alternative to repeat and increasing failure when recent history can provide dozens of examples where there is? Is it because they have to move from their keyboards and actually get active in saving the club?

The biggest problem is that, in Twatola, we have a CEO who is patently not a footballing man.
IMHO Replacing Tony the Till is far more important to the mid to long term future, if not survival, of BRFC, than getting the 9th manager in four years in.

Seriously, honestly, you think that mid-table 5th tier is nothing to complain about! That's the attitude that allows Higgs to get away with it. After the last 4 seasons i won't be complaining. How can a team go from being relegated in 10/11, nearly relegated 11/12, nearly relegated 12/13, relegated 13/14 to then pissing all over good teams in 14/15 with the open top bus booked for May 2015. You really need to get some balance to your opinion. What part of we should never be in the conference in the first bloody place do you not get?

I hear the preparations for entry to the Conference South are going ahead as planned, lol. Could be worse, I could live in Wycombe.

Gary Smart would be mine, but it's already been taken, so I'm going to go for Craig Disley at Millwall. There were pensioners joining in the 5 minute long Disley song afterwards!

As someone has said on a different thread, the vast majority of deliveries for Sainsbury's is going to come all the way from.... erm... Emersons Green, about 5 miles away.
If Sainsburys were in any way serious about going ahead I'm pretty sure that the delivery times (an hour round trip tops including loading / unloading) could easily be worked around the current permissions.

I'm pretty sure the rugby fans would love to return to their home, especialy as it looks like we're going nowhere. Why would Steve the Taxdodger move his rugby club from his redeveloped ground?

Where was the money coming from to do this development, did you have developers lined up to pay for the accommodation? Yes student accommodation contracts could have been signed, 1-2 years before the bubble burst. (Either student or general accommodation) there were several interested parties at the time. That was how Orient funded their development , they were about 1 year ahead of our plans. In fact several board members went to Orient to see the development in progress. In the last year Bristol Ice Rink was levelled to make way for student accomodation by UNITE, so the demand in the city must still be there.

What part of Bristol Rovers are a non league football club is so feckin difficult for some people to understand?
You earn the right to be on local news outlets, not by the size of the crowd but by the club's status in the football pyramid.

Why are you so defensive of Kevin Spencer and why is this so important? He is one person. Why was he banned and nobody else? If he did absolutely nothing wrong then why has he been banned? A simple question Mr Spencer-There is no smoke without fire- What did you do to get banned? . It seems that Football is no longer the important part of this forum but instead the politics of the club. It seems results are not important unless they give something to criticise the Board. I fail to see why Geoff couldn't come up with his own questions or is the truth he has no real interest other than to get brownie points. The only points I am interested in are the 3 points for a win and one for a draw and the performance of the team. Perhaps a few more should take more notice of this and less of the politics and maybe ,just maybe this club can go forward again. Are you also a fan of North Korea as well by any chance?
