Just wanted to say and sorry if already been said but I feel that the non coverage of the gas on both the BBC and itv is nothing short of disgusting and just rubbs salt into the wounds!! I know we are now non league but not to mention us or show the odd goal is absolutely bang out of order and shows no respect to this great club!!!!!

I would ban both sets of TV reporters from the club and only allow the Radio people in - at least they try !

It's only right. We are a no mark team. Truth hurts I know but I keep being told I have to accept where we are.

For the Local TV it has actually nothing at all to do with where we are.
They should be reporting what the majority of viewers want to see or hear about:-
Rovers and City. End of.

I have to agree with KP. How often in recent seasons have they mentioned Forest Green's or Bath's (when tier 5) results? Very little. So why should we get a special mention just because we're Bristol Rovers?

They always used to bleat on about Yeovil when they were non league though and they are barely in the area

Come on, who cares it's bloody embarrassing enough being non-league! The fewer people aware of it the better.

Yes I am but I do wonder if that shower of s**te south of the river were in our shoes would they be singled out? Mmm I'm not so sure

Swindon had more than us today and Plymouth usually do (ITV Westcountry cover them these days right?), so yeh apart from them we are the best supported club in the region. It doesn't change what league we're in though sadly and the BBC and ITV do very little coverage of said league so we're going to get very little coverage as a result.

So why should we get a special mention just because we're Bristol Rovers? because 50% of the population of bristol support BRFC and the purpose of news stations is to report to the populous

I would ban both sets of TV reporters from the club and only allow the Radio people in - at least they try ! They won't be at the Mem anyway, will they? Will you lift the ban if we get back in the Football League? Anyone else the club should ban? The list is growing....

Even though we are non league we still for now have one hell of a following and fans of ours young & old will still like to see and be informed of our progress whatever league we maybe in

In a way it brings out the siege mentality in us. I listened to 606 earlier and they were bleating on about what marvellous fans Coventry have and how they have endured so much having to travel 35 miles down the road to watch a home match - and how they deserve their move back to the Recoh. They then talked about Blackpool and how Directors dont always deserve the fans that they get.
It made me think about a gate in excess of 5500 people to watch a c**p team playing at the bottom of the conference. It made me feel proud that despite everything we still support our side and I do firmly believe that one day - and I dont know where and I dont know when - we will be back .
Despite everything that happens there is a part of Bristol that will always be Rovers and in reality I dont care about the regional BBC or ITV because the truth of the matter is that I dont watch it anyway. Stuff em

Agree, regardless of the league we are in a large % of their viewers want to know the result ( even the Red, half if only to laugh at us ). I think a quiet word from the club to point out there will be no TV interviews or access to the players etc for any local TV news team until the situation is resolved is not unreasonable. Whilst they won't care most of the time, they will be quick to want reaction when there is a stadium story, if we draw a big side in the FA cup or in the unlikely situation we get in a promotion position.

Stuff em yeah I agree I mean what club our size would take near on 2000 away to forest green? Out support is fantastic for where we are and the size of our club and when you see city only taking 400 odd I think it was to their opening game away to Sheffield United it makes u think how much we would of took if we were in league one. I remember 9000 at Barnsley in the FA cup,6000 at reading 5000 at stoke and so on... Our loyal support especially away is incredible and we should all be so proud
