I'm pretty sure the rugby fans would love to return to their home, especialy as it looks like we're going nowhere.

Well Clifton are having some work done on their ground, and I think Bristol Saracens have to move so you never know.....We may even offer Dings a home while their move to a new ground is being sorted.

Not going to happen, apparently NH has leased the Rugby clubs offices to our solicitors on a 5 year lease!

Wait and see I suppose, Bris haven't played a game at Ashton Gate yet, but even though missing promoted wasn't on the script I doubt they would see any advantage in moving to a smaller stadium away from SLs integrated network. I'm afraid losing the rugby club may be another unfortunate and irreversible by product of our UWE vanity project and it's difficult to be too harsh on them anyway after they had to pay a massive lump to NGD a few years ago when we planned on turfing them out for the redevelopment that never happened.

I'm sure they'd come back if there was no where else in the North Hemisphere to play their games. Rather like us fans they've been ****ed over multiple times by BRFC and will probably be laughing at our present predicament...and who can blame them.

Exactly, whilst the die hard rugby only fans would like to return to the Mem, once SL had got his claws sunk in he was never going to let the rugby club remain at the Mem new stadium or not, it gave him the perfect reason to take them away and generate even further dislike amongst the rugby fans towards Bristol Rovers. The only way I could ever see the rugby club returning is if they don't get promoted fairly soon and attendances are poor, SL relinquishes his majority shareholding and there is a campaign from the rugby supporters to return to 'their home'. I think that is all highly unlikely.
