It's a conclusion some have drawn. And I've now heard this from a couple of people. So only second hand. If true then expect to hear a brief statement from the Club soon, as that would be the appropriate thing to do. You can't sack a CEO and then just hope no-one notices.

Big wrongful dismissal case in March to be heard for former club employee with his finger prints all over it.

We've already had one case settled out of court last year....how many do you need to highlight this renegade action just isn't right? I'm disappointed that higher above have allowed some things to continue to roll without impunity, For those old enough: (Hopefully) the future's now not Bright. Or Gorringe.

If CEO Gorringe as well as Manager Barton's gone, I'd like to see o2o2bo2ba's and my nemesis Bambi Gasgroin back at Rovers and Gas Guzzler.

The man's often unbearable. Bring him back.

I think the bloke has systematically stripped the heart out of the club. Getting rid of nearly all the staff (volunteers, part timers and those who were part of the furniture) and stupid initiatives like card only payment. Good riddance.

It was only at your second sentence I realised you meant Gorringe, not Bambi Gasgroin. For clarity, I was talking about Gasgroin. I share some of your serious concerns about Gorringe.

Not everyone has a card or smartphone British rail back tracked on closing ticket offices because oldies disabled need contact with humans to ask questions and spend cash not card. You know it makes perfect sense Ps the 50/50 draw has deteriorated as a result of no cash. FACT

I am also insulted when people claim that my generation needs more "help" with technology or use of electronic transactions. As if. It was us that invented the internet, developed Local Area Networks (LANs), brought mobile communications to market. To name but three. If you are of my age (71) then where where the f**k were you after 1978? In a cocoon?

Cash is a pain in the arse to account for when you have multiple vending outlets, is open to fraud and theft and it also costs you time and extra banking charges to pay in.

Precisely I net HB is one of those guys that orders a Guinness, waits to be told the price, fiddles around in his pocket for coins, meticulously counts out the coinage and asks for a receipt.
