Is there any benefit to Rovers in trying to cover up the fact that Tom’s tenure as CEO has been an abject failure ?
I hope he gets his personal and professional life sorted out and that he thinks carefully before taking on his next job in football.

If there is, would it be a suitable topic for a forum? His personal life is that, personal. Usually I’d say explain please but I’m pretty sure it’s completely irrelevant and not up for discussion. Absolutely delighted he’s finally on his way. Obviously a bit of ‘unfair dismissal’ type stuff to sort out hence the delay in the official announcement. A thoroughly unpleasant, divisive and incompetent character. Perhaps he can auction off his bacofoil suit to raise some money?

What happened/what did he do? After making this strong statement regarding Gorringe, alloutofgas needs to say what happened. UTG I am very close to a long standing (50 years) Rovers fan who gave his all to the club for 40 years and was notified by email that his services were no longer required. He also knows many of the other long standing staff and volunteers who were also treated badly. I can ask him for the details and if he’s happy gladly post on here if Admin allows. |

I dont think you need to ask for any details. If you ask any of the staff that worked under him he topped the ranks as been the most disliked individual at the club ably assisted by a woman equally loathed who has also now been sacked.
He certainly wasnt the nice bloke who conned so many people with sugary polite emails swearing allegiance to Rovers.

(Amongst other inept ideas) Sorry to like your post, because it's reprehensible. Unably assisted by his nepotistic sidekick which I think is out there, they may have shared more time together than work time, TG systematically helped emancipate the club from long standing helpers, suppliers and customers - all of which imo he treated like a disposable commodity without paying respects to how and when the hard fought relationships were formed. |

You've nailed much of what I think, where I stand in that post, so I'm incredibly supportive of it. Just, unfortunately, the post bears bad news from the peeps involved, so I'm liking that you post it - but feel sad for those affected. |

I agree and feel sorry for all those decent long serving members of staff that he systematically deliberately removed from the club to satisfy his own ambitious agenda.
