Not good enough. Stand up and be counted Fans disappointed Expect a lot better. Altrincham took chances. PLAYERS HAVE MENTAL FEAR Apologizes for performance. Very angry. Only so much he and staff can do. Not too early to be concerned. Players are making bad decisions. Can't come to DIFFICULT places like Altrincham and play like that Got to regroup and go again. He's a fighter. Been in the game a long time. Regroup from the front.

Plenty there for people to pick away at and criticise. Before anyone has a moan, make sure you post what he should have said.

Before anyone has a moan, make sure you post what he should have said. I typed it as he was speaking! Why on earth would I change anything he said! If I did, tell me and I will change it!

He signed players that are scared to make mistakes? Give me strength!!! Unbelievable. I'm reminded of this quote from Dennis Payter after relegation: "I know Darrell Clarke was brought in with a view to eventually taking over, but I presume that was if he proved himself. There was no evidence on the field that he did and when he took over it was his team remember that played so badly, without passion, organisation or commitment against Torquay recently." How the f**k did he remain in the job? Totally inept.

He got the job because he was cheap and his bullish bullsh*t ala Higgs fooled the rose tinters who were taken in by a bloke who could talk a good game.

Well in IMHO he doesn't even talk a bloody good game! Just the usual cliches and platitudes. He comes across as a bit thick to me, but then I suppose he isn't nicknamed 'Trigger' for nothing...

This is what he said after the Barnet debacle (good to see you back Wes ) This vacuous, nonsensical football-speak, and it's not just DC, isn't helpful to anyone. But the very poor sycophantic media and the 'football-world' let them get away with it. Managers and players are in the thrall of the self-serving media. They're given status far beyond their due.

We need a John Still like figure with knowledge, experience, contacts etc. Tony Pulis might make a difference!

Surprised he didnt mention the old ''now we have got a goal the lads will start banging them in''. I like DC but he isn't the man to take the club forward. I thought he was but he is in over his head imo.

Clarke is just like Higgs, will blame every body else apart from himself, because in fact he cannot make it happen. Clarke has brought rank players to the club and has frightened the living day lights out of all the players and they are now playing with total fear and no confidence. After all Clarke has never actually managed at this level. Taxi for DC Utg

Higgs and co succeed in one regard. They manage the almost impossible of replacing a useless manager with someone who is even more inept. DC is absolutely clueless and should be put out his misery and ours soonest. Should never have got the job and certainly shouldn't have held on to it after his wretched performance at the end of last season. Obvious what was going to happen. He has recruited terribly, has no system and can't even talk sensibly about the game. Full of platitudes but no delivery.
