With a bit of luck-yes. I do wonder sometimes if the organisers of things like this have the club at heart or are on personal agendas. I really can't understand why EVERYBODY doesnt join the Sopporters club and make IT stronger. As they say too many cooks spoil the broth and please can somebody tell me who out of these organisers have any financial clout to take the club forward? It seems to me to many people are intent on causing trouble and getting the Board out WITHOUT any real thought as to the ALTERNATIVE. It is very easy when a club is down to blame all asundry but without the Board we would not have had a club to support many years ago. I'm not directly involved with BRISA, but I was one of the three organisers of Tuesday's meeting. I take exception to being called a trouble maker. Members of the board may have saved the club 'many years ago'; but that was then and this is now. Members of this board has overseen the demise of our club from top half L1 to Conference. Bert Tann, Fred Ford, Harry Bamford, Alfie Biggs et al must be turning in their graves. So you have to have money to express a contrary opinion?! How insulting. I rarely get angry, but this patronising post says so much!

Of course a well run club doesn't guarantee success on the pitch. Walsall is a good example, rarely lose money, rarely win anything Mmmm...13th in L1...I think I could live with that!

Club confirmed on Twitter no Press conference for this week! But EPost reporter thinks could be one next week! Do you think there could be announcements just before the SC EGM...or is that being too cynical?!

Thank you to everyone who came to the meeting @ the Wellington last night. To have fifty people there, plus many expressions of support from those who could not attend was good, but also a sign of the anger and frustration still felt by us, the fans. There was much good and constructive debate, and a firm intention to drive on until we see a better run club with success on the field. The three of us will be meeting this weekend to pull together all the thoughts and ideas expressed last night. There is every intention to have another open invitation meeting towards the end of June/beginning of July to 'review' what we hear at the SC EGM and anticipate the still to be arranged Q&A. Again, thank you.

Tonight's the night! A chance for ALL fans, not just SC members, to express their views. It needs to be a constructive meeting. Where we go from here will depend upon how tonight goes. We will discuss our main concerns, what needs to be done to improve matters, and what we are prepared to do if we do not see sufficient progress. Many have expressed interest and support. It's been promoted on all the forums. Bristol Post and Sunday Independent have both written about us. All that needs to happen now is for people to attend!

I won't be coming to the meeting because I live in Manchester but I wish you the very best of luck - I think this is an excellent idea and appears to be being carried out in the right spirit of constructive, not destructive, criticism. Thank you irish. Yes, we will have our genuine complaints about the past, and they will need to be aired before we can look to the future. But then, as you rightly say, we must be constructive and identify what needs to change. Being constructive, though, does not preclude being critical!

Change comes for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes from within, sometimes because of circumstances; and sometimes because of external pressure. At Rovers changes are needed. The regime which has seen us slip from upper L1 to Conference in a short space of time cannot continue to work in the same way. It may be that changes are under way, and we may never know exactly what has brought about change. All we can do as fans is keep the pressure up. Make it clear that we will no longer accept the same old...........
This is meant positively. We want the best for our club. We want to move forward together behind a successful team.
James Macnamara wrote a piece in Friday's Bristol Post about our meeting planned for Tuesday. There is a letter in today's Bristol Sunday Independent on page 6 which Richard Latham was instrumental in having printed.
Perhaps, just perhaps, news of this meeting, and the work of those behind BRISA has filtered through. Perhaps, just perhaps, it has focused minds.
So let's have a good turn out on Tuesday, 7.30pm at the Wellington. Let's keep the pressure up.

Thank you Dinsdale. Family comes first, and everyone understands that. Your good wishes for our 'enterprises' are really appreciated. There seems to be a momentum gathering. Mark has spoken with James MacNamara of the Bristol Post and something should appear tomorrow. Richard Latham has contacted me today and there should be something in this weekend's Bristol Sunday Independent. Once again, best wishes to you and your family.

In the interview he certainly did not look like he had just had a holiday! On edge, growth of stubble and constantly rubbing his neck....and with nothing new to say.

2. There was a large bust up in box 1 following the final whistle. Lots of blame and counter blame between board members. Anyone else hear this ? Any truth in it? What do you expect when someone's eaten all the sandwiches?!

I submitted two questions early on. No sign of them here.
Do the two elected SC board directors feel that they have equal status around the boardroom table; and are they FULLY involved in ALL significant decision making processes and decisions? How do they canvass and represent the opinions of the fans; and how do they report back to the fans decisions made by the board?

A good point for discussion at the meeting on 10th June.
