Just wanted to wish you well, it is looking unlikely I can be there, those who dont know me (was Probation Gas on the official forum from its opening and then Dinsdale due to numerous bannings) I have been a passionate advocate of fan intervention and change at the club. Unfortunately my wife has been very ill the past 8 months and I may have to take some more time out of football as we had some s**tty news today.
I havent mentioned it beyond a few people as didnt want sympathy for not attending as much as I could and Im a private guy on here. Just wanted to explain why I may not be getting more involved so that I dont look like a the kind of guy who talks the talk but then hides away,
I wish you well and will be there financially when needed and would like to apologise for not being able to contribute as much as I would like,
All the best and please keep fighting. Will be there when I win a more important battle.

Dig in Dinsdale! Do what you have to do - football doesn't come in to it!
I'll badger Geoff Dunford, BSS & BRFC on Twitter for you!!! We'll get answers or a whitewash eventually!
Best wishes.

Thank you Dinsdale. Family comes first, and everyone understands that. Your good wishes for our 'enterprises' are really appreciated. There seems to be a momentum gathering. Mark has spoken with James MacNamara of the Bristol Post and something should appear tomorrow. Richard Latham has contacted me today and there should be something in this weekend's Bristol Sunday Independent. Once again, best wishes to you and your family.

Family always comes first mate, the very best wishes to both you and your wife. As someone who has also had to cope with family illness over the last couple of years, it's absolutely understandable that that should be your number one priority.

Keep your chin up Dins, went through a similar problem with my wife about 18 months ago, couldnt see any light at the end of the tunnel, but eventually after an op and lengthy treatmen she now has the all clear, remember the saying where there is life there is hope, and the light at the end of the tunnel isnt neccassarily a train coming the other way.Fingers crossed that this time next year you will look back on this time and realise how much stronger you have become because of it
