Just watched DC's interview on YouTube I think he looks awful and his body language (rubbing his neck) and sitting side on tells me that all is not well behind the scenes. His talk of "signings" seemed nothing but pr, feel so sorry for the man.

During my conversation with an ex gas player formerly caretaker at Hereford he said that he and his assistant watched DC after the Mansfield and subsequent press confrerences and he was not impressed, thought it was an exercise in self aggrandisment

Did Beadle say what he would have done in the same situation?

DC was a broken man after the Mansfield!d game and showed passion only shown by a true Gashead.

In the interview he certainly did not look like he had just had a holiday! On edge, growth of stubble and constantly rubbing his neck....and with nothing new to say.

Hmmm ... yeah a true gashead: one associated with the club for one whole season and who's association came about purely by chance. What a gashead. What a guy. I know that if I'd just taken the managerial job of a football club who was getting dunked out of the league it wouldn't be because my shot at being a league manager, my reputation, my current job and potentially my future career could have been jeapordised. No, I'd cry because I loved the club. Gas through and through he is ... after that nine months ...

Can you really blame him, just look who his employers are!

Not sure why you would feel sorry for him when they guy has got the job he obviously left Salisbury for. Yes the pressure is on and he is showing signs of fatigue but that maybe because he is having to work his backside off to build his team, travelling to meet players and their agents and to be at the front when it comes to making the signings that will make or break us next season. He could have taken a 3 week break in Spain and come back all smiley and refreshed but he may then have found that the players he wants have all gone elsewhere. Strike while the iron is hot , sign em up and when we have the makings of a decent side take a break to recharge the batteries in time for pre-season.

It can't be easy for Darrell because he is trying to put a squad together with all the frustrations and issues that brings, but he as another major issue.
Who is leaving?
We have done the releasing of those we don't want but for the first time in a long time suggestions are there is genuine interest in a fair few players. This makes planning difficult, the budgetary affect as well as the affect on recruiting players and what you do next.
Football is a unique business and Management a real challenge..................ask Giggsy(Even he will tell you it's a lot easier playing!)

if he has any sense,Darrel Clarke will have a rethink and say goodbye to the poison chalice. what chance does he have? And we know who has just left town. 10 games in and if Rovers are not top of the table he will be gone. The `best` fans in Bristol will make sure of that regardless. The Rovers is a massive rebuilding/challenge for any manager, and will certainly not be done in one season. Unless lady luck shines. My advice, worth bugger all i know,is walk away while you still have a bit of sanity in you.

Have to ask what the **** would Beadle know after watching a few video interviews with a young man in a new job. Come on get real.
Fast loosing faith in some of your posts Padstow - still waiting for those signings you promised us in January, you know the huge, big, massive, game changing signings.......
