You could have, but you did not. Because you cannot help yourself. And your attempt to align fascism with anti racism is risible. I agree the card is played to easily, but too often it is obvious It's entirely liberal to prosecute people for insults then. Authoritarians can be from any political ideology, and a society which prosecutes for verbal insults is an authoritarian one, whichever way you choose to wrap up the context, you are setting precedents which will affect your grandchildren. Unfortunately the zeitgeist has a heresy in racism which can eclipse all good reason and thoughtfulness. Trying to eradicate racism is like fighting a war on terror. By your definition every countries government is authoritarian. And setting precedent which will affect our grandchildren, great! They will be able to grow up in a place where they are judged on what they do rather than who they are. I agree eradicating racism is like fighting a war on terror in as far as there will always be those that disagree (one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter and all that ....) But should we abandon both fights just because its "unwinnable"? The plus side would be the racist terrorist wouldn't ask you to wave a red card at a football match.

Shouldn't we be waving white cards around, as in white is the absence of colour ? *tongue firmly in cheek!*

Hmmm, I remember this contrived load of s***e at the Mansfield game last year. That poor sod trying to get us all singing some song at halftime when we were staring down the barrel of relegation from the Football League. This 'right on' sort of organised drivel makes my skin crawl. Thanks. I'd eradicated that from my memory. Ugh.

And for the record I think raising this thread from the bottom of the sea is a bad omen. We always lose when the Kick It Out banner is at the game. We lost on that f**kin bulls**t red card day (Rovers players wearing RED shirts? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?). Let's not have any of that bad juju s**t around the ground today please Gas. Focus on what's happening on the pitch, Rovers!
