Yes, that really is a super leaving message.
I don't do twitter, so I really don't know exactly what he's supposed to have done wrong. Was it removing from his Bio that he plays for Rovers, and if so is that really so bad?? When I checked his Instagram account last night, it was still showing him in Rovers gear on his profile pic. I notice he has now (quite understandably) changed the picture to him in a Bolton shirt, but he still 'follows' Rovers on his Instagram.

Not only was the Oxford goal a fortunate wicked deflection, there's a suspicion it struck the Oxford player's arm.

One thing not quite right in this Tweet is that AC asked not to be considered for the game, rather than the wording here that he had be left out of the squad.

Interesting new misheard saying! It's Hair's breadth. Not if you're Bugs Bunny. I'm not having that. Bugs Bunny has never played football in his life. Although, I can picture him wearing a Gridiron helmet. Now, if you'd said Josh Hare, or maybe even Joe Bunney, you may well have a point!

Get’s caught a yard Offside too often. Amazing how many lino's get caught out of keeping up with play and miss so many off sides.... yet they never seem to miss JM hare's breath of an offside! ..... apart from the Stevenage offside hand ball foul! Interesting new misheard saying! It's Hair's breadth.

Sounds similar to things we were hearing a couple of years back. There was talk of late payments for work at The Mem and The Quarters. 3 people have PM me on gaschat telling a similar story to me. One person took season tickets, advertising and an 1883 membership to cover his invoice which wasn't by choice by the rest of his PM which I shan't disclose. It wouldn't be fair on him. But there's a pattern emerging here and not a good one. Yes, not good at all, and sorry to hear you are affected. I'm still working my way through the thread on the Gaschat Forum (got to page 13). Just pointing out that a couple of the points raised were also accusations/happenings with the previous board: - Current ownership accused of late payments for work carried out / Previous ownership were accused of late payments for work at The Mem and The Quarters. - Current ownership set up Bristol Rovers Academy Kuwait / Previous ownership set up Bristol Rovers Academy London, which didn't last long and seemingly disappeared without announcement. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-rovers-launch-new-academy-4221344

I was explaining Admin v Liquidation to a City fan the other day. He didn't realise that his club were the last EFL club to be liquidated and allowed to pre pack and stay in the EFL. Interesting times and I wasn't shocked listening Matt Taylors interview whilst being blown down the M5 last night. He was very diplomatic but I think many of us know what he meant. He has been hung out to dry and maybe he did jump into the job a little too quickly, he didn't need to. Yes I think you are absolutely right and he probably should have seen the writing on the wall when he was given vague promises instead of detailed plans. The debate on Gaschat has now advanced to the point where ITB is telling us his company never had a problem getting paid by Rovers when Tom was in charge of settling accounts and Wael is very embarrassed that invoices are not being paid on time. As I predicted a few days ago, the next development will be for some fans to say they think things were much better in Wael’s time and that the Al- Saeeds have spoiled everything. In a pre-pack situation, with 12 million of debt secured by real estate, where would we train and play our home games ? Sounds similar to things we were hearing a couple of years back. There was talk of late payments for work at The Mem and The Quarters.

ITB is to Wael as was Baself to Poundland Pep. Absolutely fixated and unable to see or admit to seeing his flaws Whoever they are.... And I see without your drugs you are unable to make a coherent debate without a personal attack. How about this for a spotting a flaw of Wael's...he's sold us down the river to another rich dad who's son this time is so woefully out of his depth that along with his university mates that have been board appointed, that between them they can't even build a website without incorrectly spelling the clubs name or even having correct diction on a landing page strapline. The same people that are trying to negotiate million pound contracts for players and managers and making a compete cats arse of that as well. Absolute rank amateur. bristolroverskw.com/It's here if you're wondering. Oh wow! This is some statement of intent! Bristol Rovers Academy Kuwait, we really are expanding. All this on top of Bristol Rovers Academy London, which was launched a few years ago ... oh, wait! Edit: Let's hope we can unearth more gems like Ghassan Abu Hassan.

Rovers have added the highlights video to youtube. But it is the same video that Sky Sports put out, so not much there at all. I still haven't got to see the chances we had, like Luke Thomas in the 6 yard box that could have made it 1-1, nor the Aaron Collins penalty shout right at the end. Thought our media department were supposed to be so much better nowadays....

Another one of your fairy stories? On one of the Rovers facebook groups 'Bristol Rovers Fan Zone', someone shared a screen-shot of a Tweet from someone called @mikeytheimp (so it must be true! ). #BristolRovers defender Luca Hoole is close to agreeing a loan-deal with #fgr until the end of the season. 08.31 14/01/2024. At least the person who posted on facebook quoted their sources.

Well, at least he hasn't waited until the 11th hour of deadline day to haggle this time! :-) Did he last time? Well, I can't say for certain as I wasn't there. From what I've heard delays weren't just down to Rovers, but really we still should have got it over the line anyway.

Evans, Tony Evans. In a heart beat he'll dribble and wriggle free. And he takes the greatest free-kicks you will see. When we're out together, watching Rovers and Tony.
Might need a bit of work...

Amazing that our 2 players in the team of the week are both playing in unfamiliar roles - left back / left wing-back, and right back / right wing-back. And more amazing that they were the 2 pushing forwards to combine for the last minute winner against Portsmouth.

As the Charlton game isn't on a Saturday, I was guessing that it would be available on i-Follow. Yet there is no mention of it on the Rovers Official website, unless you go searching within the i-Follow section: www.bristolrovers.co.uk/matches/fixtures/first-team/202324/december/bristol-rovers-vs-charlton-athletic-on-29-dec-23/While over on the Charlton website they are advertising it on their website: www.charltonafc.com/You would think that Rovers would be plugging the game being available online, especially as all tickets have now gone. People have been saying how good our media has been. I honestly haven't seen much difference since 2014, when we had far less people involved in the media, and the Official website itself has been shocking for the past couple of year - only seem interested in tweets (or whatever they are now, I don't do it), and then have been called out for unprofessional tweets.

Big occasion for me today, as this game marked 50 years to the day since I first saw Rovers play. - 26/12/1973 - Bristol Rovers 4 Plymouth Argyle 2 (Att. 22,353). - 26/12/2023 - Bristol Rovers 2 Portsmouth 1 (Att. 9,176 full house)
I don't remember anything of the match in 1973, but I do recall sitting on my dad's shoulders in the South Enclosure at Eastville. Sadly dad wasn't well enough to come to The Mem today, but if he was able I'm not sure he'd be pleased with me sat on his shoulders. :-)
