Really hoping this isn't true. Not only a very promising player but another dent in an already threadbare squad.
Neither do I see this move as an opportunity for his improvement.

Hunt Thomas and Grant plus Gibbons are our best wing backs and at his age Hoole needs regular first team action. So the loan move makes perfect sense. |

Gibbons-highly thought of at Port Vale-rarely if ever starts or features so would be surprised if he stays.

Except Ellis had to come back early from Hartlepool with a bad injury iirc. But you’re right certain players do benefit from loans. I’m not sure Hoole needs to go to FGR who seem like a club in free fall atm. UTG! |
