can anyone clarify what happened. Because from where I was , I saw it exactly the same way. ref gives a goal kick, Blackpool shout at him , and he changes his mind. There didn't seem to be any communication between ref and linesman, or have I got that wrong? Got the impression that fourth said something in his earpiece. Shows my ignorance then, I didn't even realise he was allowed to do that.

Screamer from Kilgour was a real beauty and the timing superb, a much needed win but make no mistake, Blackpool were by far the better team, Blackman kept us in it. Yep, we were as bad as in every game so far under Garner, saved by a sending off, a wonder strike, a huge deflection and 3 chances that they somehow missed. But hey, a win is a win, I'll take it. Garner did show some tactical awareness today, he sent a message to the ball boys to get the ball back to their keeper quickly. What on earth was that referee doing, 2 goal kick decisions changed to corners because their players shouted at him? The linesman didn't give either as a corner, he was in position for the goal kick both times. can anyone clarify what happened. Because from where I was , I saw it exactly the same way. ref gives a goal kick, Blackpool shout at him , and he changes his mind. Blackpool’s manager has a solitary win in the last 12 games. That was deemed unacceptable for Blackpool and they pulled the trigger. Our board think no win in 14 is perfectly acceptable. Not that either of them are even involved in day to day operations at the current time. A tale of two clubs right there- one with ambition to be better and one without. 1 ) Possibly - just possibly - our owners are taking a long term view, and are willing to take a hit for a while until a new style of play is implemented. After all, the 'fans' weren't happy with Coughlanball, and wanted 'entertainment'.2) I've supported since 1970 - it's never been any different. 3) Look across the river - there's an ambitious club. But according to today's BP, they ain't happy because their club is no longer the happy fan-friendly club it once was. And ordinary fans can no longer afford to go. Football fans!! Who'd have 'em. I agree with the long term view thing ( Although I think our owners just think 'He'll do' , and couldn't care lee one way or the other). I was a big Coughlan fan from day one, however he has gone now and although I am far (very far) from convinced about Garner, there is little point in employing him (or anyone for that matter) if you don't give them a decent run at it. By decent run I mean 2 seasons even if it meant a relegation.

The lengths some people will go to, just to avoid getting their round in.

So their cup replay next week as Coventry are away will they bring more than 2500 to cheer them on against their landlords ? 12500 i think is their allocation!! sold out i believe !! Just over 6000 and they have only sold 3500. I think Cov were pissed off that Birmingham didn't reciprocate the 50/50 ticket split for the first game.

I know BG* deserves a free pass for the period surrounding his emergency family leave, about which I shall not enquire or comment. 'Still no win under BG' though - this does remain an accurate and damning indictment of BG's early days. GC sacrificed football for results, and we watched in fewer number. Reviving the old Rovers philosophy of playing good a passing and creative football style, coaching cheap young players from divisions below before selling them to divisions above at a profit sounds like a fantastic idea to me, but this hasn't happened yet. We've offloaded the promising striker who never scored a goal, but apparently recruited the promising manager who never wins a match. If he starts winning, though, I think we're gonna love him. * BG now means the manager. We can't refer to Bambi as 'BG' any more.Too confusing for me. One of them will have to go. I'm not fussy which

On the face of it, this looks good (although as Bambi points out, we don't know the finances behind it all) The good news is that Garner now has the tools that he wants to work with. Can't expect what's pretty much a new team to click straight away, but in a couple of weeks we'll know whether or not he has a future here. Especially if we don't pick any of them

Tammy's real name is Tamaraebi, meaning God bless. Timmy's is Timiebi, meaning have patience and wealth will come. Here's hoping... Does Tom or Tommy mean just have patience?

I am all for being positive. However, a god awful draw against Fleetwood and a draw against a team who will be comfortably relegated (even without the points reduction) is more likely to have me reaching for the Prozac and not the champagne. I am all for giving managers time and in our current shambolic off-field state we have little choice other than to do just that, but based on current evidence, I can't see past anything other than a relegation struggle next season. It is beyond staggering that we could even be dragged into it this season given the position of the club when Garner took over.

Not at all DrF. If you don’t want me here I’ll leave you in peace. I was just clearing up some inaccuracies that have been posted about me. Hope you enjoy today’s game if you’re going 👍🏻 Please keep your handbags, title tattle and childish beef with others on your site. As for the game, thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you. I only saw you drink two pints, did you drop some acid after or something? That was an awful game!

Being that Chinese Lunar New Year has just started here (our version of 'Christmas Holidays) and seeing a few Chinese quotes popping up in this thread, I will leave you tonight with this famous Taiwanese saying... "If someone transports dung and does not eat it, it should not be concluded that he is an honest person", goodnight all and Gong Xi facai, (Happy New Year) x If you are in hot water, pull the plug.

Well if there is another Consortium, it is not Sport Capital Group, who worked on acquisition of Palermo. Fact. I think it needs to be written as FACT to make it an actual fact
