Scott Webber @iamscottwebber 18m Hi @efl. @readingfc's B team tonight includes 7 foreign born players. How does this benefit the future of the @england side? #BTeamBoycott Someone needs to report Reading to the racial discrimination officer. This competition is supposedly to positively discriminate in favour of developing young English football players.

Well done all you Internet warriors. The only thing you achieved by boycotting the game was errrrrr nothing.
Nobody outside of this forum will ever know of you sacrifice. The only thing you managed to do by staying away is deny your club enough income to cover the cost of this idiotic game.
BRFC voted against this new cup format and you warriors just made matters worse for the club.
I went, paid my fiver and was totally pi55ed of with what I saw. I left at half time, it was that crap, first time in 58 years I have ever left a game that early.
I know this post will get slammed, but think on this, if you really want to protest about this stupid cup, do it in the ground where at least you may get someones attention, maybe even the press.

BBC reporting record low attendances across the competition so yes people have achieved something they've put the failings of the competition in the spotlight. Oh and the rest of us got 45 minutes of our life back compared to you, perhsps the team might've won if you could've been bothered to support them for 90 minutes

Not me, brother. I paid in other ways to ensure club got income. If you don't understand why vast majority stayed away throughout the country - a victory for effort, not so much attainment - you never will. Not everyone will agree, further proving this competition is divisive, but hey....that's life!

AND nationalities who turned out last night for their respective teams... bit of a mockery me thinks

By going, you gave your approval to the game and the competition.
The boycott accross the cometition is being widley reported in the press.

I went to see what it was like, I didn't like what I witnessed, so I left. I think my post is being taken out of context. I don't agree with this cup competition in any way, what I saw last night appalled me, I just think if anyone wants to protest, I am sure there are much better ways of doing it than doing nothing.

But you have done nothing, the football league have told you how it's going to be and you've gone along with it they should really thank you personally for your support, I mean after all they haven't got many people to thank have they. Or are we missing something and you actually performed some act of protest in the ground? Perhaps a nasty chant about the fl or a protest banner?
