What Line up would you, as a supporter, want for Wednesday's joke tie.
I think we should use this as a pre-season game and use the shadow squad.

With Harrybuckle and Chewbaca in a midfield battle of epic proportions.

I actually think we should take the Checkatrade seriously and give Nick Day, the bing bong man and Jean from the Supporters Club a start. Joe 90 can come on in the second half if things aren't going quite so well

I'm sure whatever team we put out on Wednesday will dominate possession and coast to victory unchallenged.

Madjeski stadium is only 10 mins from my house I might go down and see if I can get a game in the Reading U23 team. They need to relax the U23 rule by a couple of years but anything goes in this cup.

Cool...make us aware who you are and we'll give you some appropriate verbal and physical encouragement

Be careful not to make the usual 82er mistake mind of seeing the word reading and thinking its a library and then kicking off because Mr Bump has already been lent out

These ties dont normally attract big crowds anyway. There have been a few sub-1,000 crowds, including 970 at Hereford United, 1.9.2009, JP Trophy, at 771 at Wycombe Wanderers, 6.9.2011, JP Trophy against Rovers.

"These ties" have never been played before Mike. That's the point. Anyway, Rovers attendances in the former FLT competition would be a more sensible comparison. I think I remember a crowd under 2,000 for a game against Cambridge under Holloway.
