Hi @efl. @readingfc's B team tonight includes 7 foreign born players. How does this benefit the future of the @england side? #BTeamBoycott

If anyone is under the misapprehension that this is a proper match, then you might want to know that any bookings or red cards will not count in other competitions. Similarly, suspended players can play tonight.
Its a piss-take.

We really shoul'd be proud to be helping England's future players. Just imagine the commentary: " Anssi Jaakkola gathers the ball and rolls it out to Osho. Osho passes across field to Rinomhota, who pushes it down the wing to Mendez. Tarique Fosu is putting in a good forward run, here, picks up the pass and plays a superb ball through to the substitute Voncooteh........." Where's John Smith when you want him?

Anything on GasPlayer? Struggling for reception out here Mentioned on the radio just now. KB says you should be able to listen - someone's trying to fix it.

is it just me, or does it seem like Harry B's account has been hacked this last month?
for years he was the voice of informed reason, but now........
and just at the time when another poster, previously a serial sin-bin visitor, is posting insightful and enjoyable posts about the whole football experience
or have they swapped identities?
world's gone mad, I tell ya

At a guess, how old do you think the hacker is? Fourteen, fifteen perhaps?

JUST GOT BACK: Earlier, I wired Mr K £10 for FFS. I also have just bought £5 of 50/50 tickets (as I'm lucky enough to live near the stadium). I think my monies spent will see at least £5 find it's way to the club I love, albeit on a night a competition I detest. I have done my bit to support the club. I will not be attending tonight. With a heavy heart, I have chosen to boycott a chosen way of life. I feel remorseful, but proud I stood against authority and did not comply. Have to say even though an hour before match, the place is not desolate. A few Gas around, mostly with kids, fair play it's their future as much as mine - I bear no ill towards anyone whom has a different point of view to mine. I can look anyone and myself in the eye and say I supported my club in time of need, but not this competition. I hope that message resonates through every associate club. Anyone contemplating tonight's game, I urge you to reconsider and stay away. Please please please lets break all time lowest attendance figure tonight? That will be a moral victory as forever in the future we can earn an asterisk next to that number with the words *YOU'LL NEVER GET RID OF THE GAS! Respect.. UptheGas! The lowest home crowd was 1,490 for the Zenith Data Cup, 1st round match against Ipswich on 02/10/1991 Yesssss! Att: 1418. Well done everyone for staying away. Those whom attended, you can say you were there!

Sounding like the lowest ever attendance. Pat on the back for all those who haven't attended tonight.

what about those not going donate their £5 to Childrens Hospice South West a very worthy cause indeed. I've donated mine to the FFS so the club still benefits from my non attendance
