There must be new supporters to replace those on here who no longer go. Average crowd last season 6,420, this season, so far 6,040. With opponents bringing bigger away support last season the home support is about the same.

A load of my mates that used to go don't bother any more. Plus, while I can afford it, I can't justify £18 a pop to stand and watch Rovers v Altrincham or Dartford or whomever. To be fair I couldn't justify it in League Two either. Part of it is habit - if you break the habit it's hard to start again. I had STs and travelled from the midlanda for home games under Thommo and Graydon so I won't see myself as a glory hunter when I get a ticket for the final home game to see us win the title!
Same as this really. Broke the habit when I went travelling for a year in 2010. Went to a handful of games each season since and have been once this season. Don't really miss it; it does seem more of a "treat" going less often. First went in 1995 at Twerton when I was 9, then didn't go from about 1998-2002 (not sure why - probably too busy playing N64), came back and had a season ticket from 2003-2010... so like you I won't feel like a glory hunter if I go to our title winning game/Wembley - if either happen!!

That's right. No going back. I thought you said you went on New Year's Day but apologies if I've got that wrong ?It's not for me to tell you what to do or not, or to be critical, you're presumably old enough to know what you want to do in life but by the same token you're old enough to know better Life's too short......but there we are........you must do what you think is right...... Nah, your not wrong! ""kingswoodpolak Jan 2, 2015 at 12:00am via mobile topgashead likes this. Gashead attends match with mates. Shock report posted above. Exactly. Time to put away your precious principles that just cut your nose off to spite your own face. Nobody really cares, let's be honest. Just go and enjoy the football without the bleating baggage!

Always amazes me that people post thinks that completely contradicts what they have previously posted ad if no-one will remember. Personally answering the original question the w****r board have refused to lay on a supporters bus for all of us out here in Burma (Myanmar for those easily offended by references to the Empire)

I don't go anymore mainly due to fat, bald headed forty plus , usually pissed 'fans' who constantly assassinate our players.
Don't want to hear it and certainly don't want my nine year old son to hear it. They get into all parts of the ground before anyone comments and can't be reasoned with.
Equally I think match day standards are appalling.... the food, the drink , the service ... Rovers staff are average at very best in their willingness to help or do anything other than the lowest level of basic service.
Throw in the contents of Box 1 and there you are.
I love my team ... have done for 45 years ... its not the same club anymore for me though.
