Picture all over the internet of a Rovers supporter at Huddersfield pulling his shirt up and showing his gut off,I think its the same bloke that I have seen by the Bulldog. Loads of comments from fans of other clubs about what a lardy he is but tbh everywhere I have been to football in the last 20 years (at least) it looks like 25% to 50% of the crowd are obese. I find it odd that so many football fans are massive but maybe its because people who watch sport generally dont do any sort of fitness themselves,I really dont get it...and then they wear a replica players shirt in 4xl... Alcohol...plain and simple Sugar in it,ennit. Sugar in other foods they eat too. Take your point though, the booze is fattening.

Alcohol...plain and simple Too much alcohol I agree ,although junk food andΒ lack of exercise also contribute...but why football (sports) supporters ?Β it never used to be like that. Go to the Mem, Club House bar, Ollie's Bar and a small bar near the outside stage. All in the car park. When I go I use the West Enclosure and once through the turnstile there is a new very large bar next to the new south stand and another bar under the south stand. That's five bars. It's a bit a ridiculous and aligned with a food offer full of saturated fats. Can I say though, in full disclosure, I am being deeply hypocritical in criticising this provision, because I take advantage of it π±π±

Just responding to this from you "but why football (sports) supporters ?" Yes, but why do football (sports ) supporters drink so much and eat junk food ? as I said it never used to be like that.... Another thing that i find weird is people snorting cocaine when they go to a match, does it make watching the game seem more exciting ?

Not weight but still health related there was a report on the radio about Scabies outbreaks in Britain, apparently its got quite bad particularly amongst university students, I made sure that they got more hand sanitiser out at the gym today.

The same report said that Ricketts and Scurvy ! are on the increase too,of course some will say that people cant afford food but fruit is quite cheap, British mini apples 79p for six in Aldi, the truth is that the Scurvy sufferers probably live on junk food takeaways and wouldnt dream of eating fruit or veg.

I thought that I would post something positive as this place is getting a bit gloomy.
I dont usually mention names online but as this woman is on Facebook advertising her business i thought that it would be OK to give her a mention, Petra Lewis fitness,if you want to start training or try something different she would be worth contacting. We have trained with her a few times in the last few months and we agreed that her methods are good, she has some videos on Facebook which are worth a look, her Pilates class is a bit different as she introduces more upper body work than most.
