and was a completely different league structure. Is 9th in Division Three South the same as 18th in Division 3? It’s impossible to say. I think going back to 1959 is a pretty reasonable way of getting our “natural place”. It was a 92 team linear league structure where you can actually work out an average position. Too much time on my hands... However I've got an excel spreadsheet and I'm not afraid to use it. With the '1st' season being 1958-1959 (if my maths is correct): Rovers average position is 56.6 ie between 12th and 13th in League 1 A high of 28th in 1958-59 A low of 94th in 2014-2015 Over the last painful 20 years, Rovers average position has fallen to 71.8 ie between 3rd and 4th in League 2. (Whilst trawling through the data the sh*ts average position is 41.6 ie between 21st and 22nd in the championship Over the last 20 years sh*ts average position has improved slightly to 39.3 ie between 19th and 20th in the championship). It is. What it is. Thank you for posting epping. I found this all very interesting but what I'd really like to know is whether or not these analyses were prepared whilst "working from home"...

Thank you. I’ve got a season pass. Just wondering if there was video for tonight or not. It’s audio or nothing and I see the audio link now. I’m a little disappointed

Isn’t dickhead one word? I see the point that both sides are making but I would throw in the inept stewarding too. What happened to the reinforced line of stewards and police walking across with 5 minutes on the clock? Are stewards just for show now? The risk of a late goal causing a pitch invasion was easy to see after 4 had gone in. Decent stewarding would have minimised the invasion and probably meant no need for the ref to act

Thought Payne should’ve been given a red card for tackle on Anderton just before halftime. Both feet off the ground, out of control And Craig’s tackle no better. I’d forgotten that one, yes, was quite early on and a bad tackle too

Not sure why goal was disallowed. Could see nothing on replay. Watched it three times and still can't see a foul. Agreed. Definitely no foul watching it through my blue and white tinted glasses

Viral: The search for the origin of COVID-19 is a good read if you’re interested in the technicalities and some history on previous epidemics. Interesting parallels with school closures in January 1890 during the Russian Flu pandemic that killed about a million people. The not kill the host thing is true but so are other methods like spreading by targeting the sick host’s carers

That's JB's public criticism of him, rather than the public's criticism I take it Yes The 'public' on here have criticised JB's criticism. I still think they're right And yes, I agree. Even if it worked, it wasn't justified

I think the point on Luke Thomas is that he played well despite the public criticism

Has anyone seen the footage of Joeys “clash” with Matt Rhead of Lincoln City? There is a gif but I can’t paste it on here. Gave me a chuckle after his post match comments on Tuesday This?

Yes, I quoted you out of context but you also said "Pitman looks offside" and he clearly looks onside to me both before the ball is played and when the ball is played. Where he was prior to that or where he scored from isn't relevant. I remain baffled but football is all about opinions and I welcome yours. When we reach the Premier League, we'll have VAR...

Having watched the highlights, Pitman looks offside to me. He is definitely offside for a long time before the ball comes in, and definitely offside from a fraction after the cross and onwards to the header. The problem is, that you can see when pausing the video, that it is difficult to tell whether he is offside at the exact moment the ball is played to him (and the angle doesn't help). If he does come back onside it is for such a fraction of a second that it would be impossible to know in real time. Couldn’t disagree with you more on the offside. The angle doesn’t matter because you can see the penalty area white line. Pitman (far left) is on it and a defender’s clearly ahead of it if you freeze the frame when the ball is played forward. I find it baffling that anyone would say it's "definitely offside" Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

He was out there visiting his daughter, but flew in last night and was at the game today. While he was over here do you know whether he popped in to see these people ? www.beautifulgamegroup.com/“Integrous”. Remarkable made up word. All of that sounds like bad news for the investors
