Cruel to see 42 chosen as the moment I become "mature adult" and that I remain trapped in the classification for 20 years

"Strengthen the pyramid". Surely impossible. The Pharaohs were mis-sold.

Give us strength. Now he's the victim of corrupt Police officers. Yeah, OK, if you say so. Based on this stupidity we should disregard every single conviction, ever, that's supported by Police evidence. His family should book a package with the Bartons for next year, wonderful ambassadors they make for Great Britain. Edit. No doubt you ended the careers of those Police officers who purjured themselves, or is this all part of some bonkers conspiracy theory where you can 'prove' that it's happened, but just can't do so in a court? But even if you did demonstrate what you claim and officers were convicted accordingly, what on earth has that to do with Maguire's drunken rampage? I’ll wait for the full facts on this one before leaping to judgment. Because There has been a lot of stories about police and the justice system in Greece being rubbish, and even misogynistic and hopeless at caring for rape victims. if anyone did inject lovely daisy with something Harry has every justification for ironing them flat as a pancake imo I think this sums it up for me. It does seem like one of those stories that people make up after the event to paint themselves in a better light but a "trial" conducted in the way it was is farcical.

Why when people can't actually pay to go watch their team live is it still fair to charge overseas iFollowers £5 and home iFollowers £10? I understand the higher UK price in normal times as it discourages local people from attending, particularly on a wet and windy day or night. I think it should be the same price regardless of country until fans are allowed back into stadia. You can of course use certain services that make it seem like you're watching from Finland and pay the cheaper price but most people won't know how to set this up and may feel that they're stealing a fiver from the club. Some might invite a friend round to watch, charge them £5 saying we'll go halves mate and then pull the Finland trick and watch it for free

Though Players lining up but feed gone. Same. Very confused here. Do you have to put another fiver in?!

£5 seems pretty good value to me. Does it? To hunch over a smartphone or computer? I went to every pre-seasom friendly one season. I can't remember paying more than a fiver to attend the real thing. There is no need to hunch if your TV has an HDMI input, i.e. it isn’t a cathode ray tube set bought in the 80s. Simply connect the TV to the laptop and behold the picture is bigger and sound is sent through HDMI too so will play through the TV or your AV amp if you have one.

I cant recall being this far from a start to a season and having such a compete squad, which is nice. We've been used to last minute loan deal scrabbling. Nice change, and it feels like the squad is good to go, any further addition would just be jam. Agreed, but equally any significant subtractions (like JCH leaving) would be like someone taking a large bite out of said jam treat whilst you weren't looking

I see DW Sports gone into administration. I'm not into high finance etc., but is the inference they've been, er, how shall I politely phrase it, going down hill for a while? Hence Dave Whelan having to relinquish Wigan? Is the lesson here that it's great for a small club to have a sugar daddy and go places, but when the money runs out...... that's it. Unless another loaded football fan comes along, which is unlikely. I worked closely with a Wigan fan some years back and I remember him saying something like "Whelan will have to open his wallet". It went through my mind then that how can you assume his pocket is bottomless but I said nothing. Few other clubs might take note. Enjoy the ride..... while it lasts. If his pocket was bottomless that might explain the lack of funds. All dropped on the street

I was always disappointed that I never got more than 100-1 on Tom Nichols to score a hat trick in a league game, often only 80-1. The odds should have been much more generous. The only time I got something back was when he didn't play.

I've got some good news. We know we're in a vicious death spiral - but the bookies don't. Rovers are still 200-1 to go down. I'm not saying they definitely will. But I think the odds should be 1/10th of that (if not tighter). For the price of a Supporters Club pint you could earn yourself £840. For those of you that may want to emotionally hedge themselves against the worst coming to the worst... Betfair are still offering 175-1 for Gas relegation. (Skybet tightened from 200-1 to 100-1 in the last couple of days). I'm talking about a couple of quid to pay your bar bill should very bad things happen and sorrows may need to be drowned. 66/1 on WillHill so that 175/1 seems very good. I just can’t do it. Haven’t bet on Rovers since I used to place £3 on Nichols to score a hat trick every week. He got 1 once.

Happy New Year Gasheads! Not going today - one of my least favourite football Clubs. The ground is in the middle of a giant retail park. An all-seater (comfy admittedly) sterile, soul-less bowl. Rovers main page has iFollow advertising the game as "Live video streaming £5". Click on the link and it magically changes to £10. If you watch from “Sweden” it’s £5

Nichols hit the crossbar with a looping volley after their keeper was outside the area heading clear and JCH pinged it back in. Another hard luck story
