We don't NEED everybody battling for the ball and would much rather we had two lazy b-----s who put the ball in the net. It is very easy to criticise, criticise criticise but sometimes praise is justified whatever the opposition and today the whole team played well. It really gets me that when players score they are labelled as lazy however they also get criticised for chasing everything and not scoring!!! Totally agree, even the great Geoff Bradford was labelled by some as lazy, but when then ball came in or around the opponents box he put the ball in the net, hard work is good but goals win matches!

To have a goal fest you need some one who can put the ball in the net. Our forwards are frankly among the most impotent in our history,6 goals in open play in 17 games and a total of only 20 goals throughout the team so to expect six in one game albeit against a mid-table Southern league side is wishful thinking,I hope you are right but I can see a replay needed after a 1-1 draw

The window is shut until January, Unless its a player who is out of contract how can it be anything else but a loan signing? Alan gow That name went through my mind, a pay if he plays contract maybe.

Trying to bring in two players by the end of the month. One offer been submitted to players agent.Guessing at least one will be a forward to replace Cunnington. Good to see DC still trying to improve certain areas of the team despite recent form. According to the Bristol Post, this will be a ''proper'' signing, not a loan deal. The window is shut until January, Unless its a player who is out of contract how can it be anything else but a loan signing?

You're all just a bunch of kids! 58 years for me and counting, cant wait for the next game. Hull City 4-2 win after being 0-2 down,a Bradford hattrick and a thunderbolt free kick from Peter Hooper!

It makes me laugh how players apparently have to "pass a very thorough medical" before joining us, yet I've seen us sign some of the most unfit excuse for footballers in recent times. So maybe at long last the club have learnt the lesson not to sign unfit players, that can only be good, I'm a bit disappointed that The Turley deal didnt materialise but frankly there are more pressing needs plus the form of Trotman will probably mean an contract extension. We have four very decent centre backs, onwards and upwards.

Christmas is a time for the old traditions, A fat bearded bloke comes down the chimney and leaves presents, Turkeys get nervous, my (ex) wife empties my bank account, I eat too much , BRFC (almost) always sack the manager and we're in the bottom four. I expect exactly the same to happen this year although I'll try and eat less!

We can't change things we are not in control of. We can make a change in our attitude and application as fans and supporters. I just urge support. That's about the only thing we can can do. And if we go down, go down fighting as one, side by side, family alike. And still be there for each other the next time. I like what you are saying, just get yerself a proper forum name mate ! Unless of course it's a family name..... Oh to be, Oh to be a (Gashead) it is a proper name! Simples!

Yes,a non-contract pay-as-you-play deal with the promise of something more permanent if things go well. Lets face it our midfield isnt very creative!

Clarke hasnt learnt from the mistakes of too many changes he made last season which was the final nail in our league coffin. Making 4 changes, albeit one out of his control, was asking for trouble. I'm not being wise after the event but he has assembled an incomplete ,inexperienced squad which get continually tinkered with, Its a recipe for disaster.

did the club pay for the extra seats in the north stand at eastville in 1974 Yes.they did. The supporters club did indeed pay for the building of the North Stand in 1958, only 3 of the 5 bays were built and the club said at the time it hoped to build the remaining 2 bays 'in the near future'...I'm still waiting!
