Whoever we get I am looking for a bit of quality if we start grubbing around for non league players free transfers and loans apart from our new training ground on the horizon our recruitment policy wont have changed much from all the previous years.

I think he would like to stay but if he chooses not to I think it will be a clear indication that future investment in the squad and the situation regarding our new ground is not as it should be.Even though most fans think we have had a reasonable season compared with where we were 3 years ago I think we have missed a golden opportunity to push on again this year with our lack of decent investment in the squad in the January transfer window, god knows when we will get this sort of momentum again.

Typical baby boomer, bought his house for £8 and bemoans young folk. But Randall was better than Lambert. Fact. I think your entering the realms of fantasy there Jones.

The first post by HG had it about right, we have played all the top teams and more than matched them without a recognised striker, I am immensely proud of our squad but feel we may have missed a golden opportunity of three successive promotions.

Sorry to disappoint. Taylor will be playing in the Championship next season and you - well you just won't be.... Why which club is buying him in the summer.

Hugely impressive performance last night, unfortunately we have got no quality up front its all huff and puff. Too late to do anything about it now.

It is in the Oxford dictionary listed as person of a lower intelligence with a mishapened head and of a general very strange appearance.

Deadline day showed clearly the target league position of the board, looks like they will be happy with mid-table. Why should that be a problem this season? Do you really think that we can pick and choose when we want promotion, I have heard too many fans say we should consolidate this season and aim for mid table safety,in my opinion that is rubbish, at the moment we have got team spirit, confidence, momentum a brilliant young manager and an ever growing fan base, that comes along once every 25 years and we should be going all out this season to go up again that is why I am devastated with our transfer activity in this window I might be wrong but I think we have blown a golden opportunity.

I think Red Cluster is a more apt title for this thread.

What I do know is that it cant have been a plan to recruit a young keeper with hardly any experience when we are leaking goals. So why do you think it happened then? Darrell get drunk and go on ebay? I think your pulling my plonker.

In my original post I was criticising our recruitment activity in this transfer window so far. If it stays as it is I will be disappointed. But how do you know that it's poor? Perhaps its exactly as planned. How do you know that your plan is better than the manager's plan? What I do know is that it cant have been a plan to recruit a young keeper with hardly any experience when we are leaking goals.

It's the here and now which counts if I said to my boss I know I am performing poorly this year but I was brilliant last year I don't think he would be too impressed. Ime not saying we are poor this year but it seems to me DC appears to be beyond criticism because of past achievements. If we're not performing poorly, then what, precisely, are you criticising?

Can anyone distinguish our recruitment policy this year from any of the last 10 years, it seems to based around loans and inexperience yet again, I am not asking our new regime to throw their money around but with the gates we have been getting I would have expected us to be able to add a little bit of quality to our squad. I have ben totally underwhelmed by our transfer activity so far and I am just hoping DC is being cagey and has a couple of aces up his sleeve. Also, with the exception of Connor Roberts, all of those loanees were quite interesting - they brought something different. That's good Unfortunately acquiring loanees that are quite interesting doesent really cut the mustard, with a bit of sensible investment I think we have every chance of carrying on the momentum of the last two seasons and getting in the play offs.

Partington a great signing, but because we got away with it last week doesent mean we made the right decision to go into the game with a sub standard keeper.

" if we go into Sat's match with what we have got and fail to get a result the blame will lie squarely on the managements shoulders." And if we win, trunky, you'll be the first to praise the 'management', won't you. Well, you will, won't you? I will be ecstatic if we get a result my point is why take the chance,we have known for some considerable time that we desperately need a keeper.

Same old moan... Makes you wonder how we ever got back-to-back promotions. Shame we can't use some of the £millions of debt wasted by the last board. I thought we had entered a new era ?
