My Dad was born in Derby, but at the age of 9 with no parents around and his first ever pair of shoes he moved to Burnley

Basically the only way to feel IMO is happy for Rovers that we are already 12 pts clear of two teams. Makes it easier for us. Selfish but no one would feel sorry for us. No one did when we went down to the Conference. Not true, we had quite a few fans saying they couldn't believe it etc.

I do know, and he wont No you don't, and he might...…. Oh Yes I do, and he will not. In fact if he scores 10 goals in division One from open play this season I will give £100 to a charity of your choice. Like wise if he doesn't I expect you to give a £100 to the ex teachers now living in Weston and driving a white car benevolent fund

Next season we will go up when Coughlin replaces the useless Nichols with a decent striker . You build a team from the back and that is what is happening, next season the forwards. I believe that if we go up a new stadium will be quickly found, especially in South Gloucester

Personally Glad they have gone, especially Sinclair, as I have never been a fan of headless chicken style footy. Meanwhile hope Locks does well at Charlton

We have 3 goalies. One French, one Dutch and one Finn. What happened to the time when English goalies were the best? Or is that the case and they now cost too much?

You never know, he might come good, score some goals. Ever the optimist! You can dream. I do know, and he wont

He is sitting on a 3and a half year contract. Probably one of the higher earners at the club and his reputation is shot. Who in their right mind would buy him, no one, and so he will stay for another 18 months getting a nice payout for being the most ineffective striker in the football league. He knows that his next move will be div 2 or non league, and that of course will mean lower wages. He's on a good thing thanks to DC.

One manager gets his players from Salisbury, the next from Coventry. (Surely the next one will get players from Manchester)

I would also add that the "rot" began in February the season before when from there until the end of the season we won 4 games. A number of our players didn't like being in and out of the team.

At our level you have to ask can we afford to carry players whose knees are almost gone? He got through last season uninjured, didn't he? I would say that picking up knocks comes with the game he plays. 4 weeks out

I'd like to say that was clever...…. OK, let's check the lists of favourite places to live and see how many times Gillingham gets a mention. It's a total dump with nothing whatsoever going on. Just Googled 'Interesting facts about Gillingham', it was fascinating, did you know as recently as 1951 there was a terrible bus crash there? It's quite possibly the most boring, lifeless Town in Britain. At least the busses are safe

Judging by the accounts it looks like most of our better players are being released because of their high wages rather than lack of ability. It's all becoming a lot clearer now. So, who are our "better" players? Given that those who have a club in Division 2 wont be getting a payrise Sinclair, Runs around a lot; goes to ground when he tackles; lacks vision in his passing (ie. they go back or side ways mostly).Usually misses 8 to 10 weeks per season due to injury. Lines, on his day he is very good a GOING FORWARD. Coming to the end of his career, is starting to slow down and prefers not to tackle. Clarke, can play across the back 4 but has limited jumping ability and struggles a little with pace. Good tackler. Daniel Leadbitter. Quick and can tackle to some extent. Has had 2 periods of long term injury, and he may well retire. The ones that may well go, or not Kyle Bennet: Was put in a ridiculous position by Clark by playing him up front. If we are to keep him he needs to hug the white line. Think he will go: Payne: Well no one really wants him back, but do we want to pay money getting rid of him. I think he will be on the bench a lot. Scored more goals in a short while than Nichols has in 2 full seasons. Sam Mathews. Wondered why we signed him, small and easily pushed off the ball. Cannot see him being a first team regular. Partington. Was probably hoping for a move to Walsall, but it never came. Would probably go if someone wanted him. Mensah. On the bench a lot at Aldershot, who as we know went down. Says it all really. Really cannot see him making many appearances. Slocombe. Wanted to move back up North to be with his family. Smith. Well not very good really.

Is mensah better than lines? matthews more useful than sinclair. Payne, matthews, mensah, nichols, reilly = deadwood for me. Bennett loaned out when the club were desperate for points and with only one wide player at the club. That's how highly he is rated by the manager. We have virtually a full squad at the club right now which is a desperate situation in my view. How do you move the deadwood if they are under contract though? You say to them, "You are not in my plans, and will be in the development squad"

Anyone tell the Walsall fans that DC always starts the season slow and it may take 5 or 6 games to get a win?

That Sinclair always had a month or two out with injuries So did Robin Van Persie. What's your point? At our level you have to ask can we afford to carry players whose knees are almost gone?

On the "other" site it says we are going to buy land in the fruit market. Better make sure its not a lemon, or it could go Pear shape, but if it is true then we should grape it with both hands
