I saw it differently. They scored after 90 seconds, and our hearts dropped as if to say we are in for more let down. And even after they scored we could have lost another goal, have got the keeper sent off, heart in mouth stuff.
I'm must be one of the plastic fans, who let my season ticket go a couple of years ago (but still saw 15 or so home games this year). I could hardly shout anything, I was so uptight and frozen with the fear and stress of it all. It meant too much and as crap an excuse, I think it hit a lot of us.

DC showed his character here. He was desperate to bring on Leadbetter to add the legs and pace, but could see the midfield duo start to tighten. Linesy then really started to struggle so he got Clarke ready. I watched Chris stretch it out and got moving again, so DC sent Clarke back. Then the keeper sub, I liked what he did, it would mostly have been a psychological change.

Just got back, i'm a very happy arse licker tonight!!!! The bloke is a legend, i backed him from day one, took the usual stick early season when i said he was the special one and needed to stay, the same stick i took over the last 4 years when i was the first to call for Buckle, McGhee & Wards heads. It's great to finally have a manager who gets the basics right, and along with that he shows incredible passion, confidence and determination to make this club a success. This football club is no pension top up or easy pay day for DC, he's nearly made himself ill this season because he was so desperate for promotion. I certainly hope that in the next couple of weeks, DC, Marcus, Steve Yates (first team coach!!!), and Stu Naylor are called into Box 1 and given 2 year contracts. To be fair you did back him from the beginning, I agreed with you, but I didn't enjoy how negative you were before, but hats off you might just have been right. I agree he has got the basics, players who want to get fit, fight for themselves and the team and basically don't give up. We weren't great today but who cares. I was so unhappy last May, this total embarrassment of dropping out the league might just be the building of something to be proud of again.

Latest from a supporter on the FB group Spoke to conference lady and she said rovers fans are NOT allowed in block 119. I explained hundreds of us have been sold tickets there and told by both ticket seller and Wembley it was ok. She has gone to investigate and will ring me back. But she seems to think we will be moved to the rovers end. I explained how I wanted to give my young son the full Wembley experience with face paint /flag etc and she was very understanding and sympathetic. However was kind of standing firm, and said we should not have been allowed tickets there. I will update again when she rings back 1 hr · Like ·
Wouldn't worry about it......

That's really annoying. At 8am this morning they weren't opened. I am just back from holiday and couldn't get the tickets sorted until today. Back corner of top tier looks not so good now for a few extra quid could be in 126, as the neutral seats show these.

Yes, I no longer go to Sainsbury's for anything, including walking past one to get coffee from Tesco metro of all places for work.
And I agree the comments from Mr Simmonds deserve some negativity.
Of course you make your own decisions for your own reasons, and I'll argue to defend that right, but walk past Sainsbury's to get to a Tesco? Come close, I'll whisper a couple of little secrets about our friends who have an outlet at Golden Hill. If shop there just remember that their accountants are ruthlessly tax efficient, so you won't be in a moral position to criticise Lansdown ever again. (not that I'm accusing you personally of doing so) but it does seem to be a stick that's used on this forum to hit SL with on a regular basis, so next time someone mentions it I'll ask them if they ever shop at Tesco, if they do they will need to decide if their moral position only applies to 3rd parties and doesn't count if it means they can select the provisions that they want and save a few pennies in the process. If anyone wants an argument about that, spend 5 mins Googling their colour named Cayman Island companies and what they did with their properties. Please do not click this link if you are upset by animal cruelty, seriously, it's unpleasant, Tesco, better than Sainsbury's?For me, when deciding where to shop, that's a bit more of a problem than a dispute to purchase a piece of land from a football club.
Yeah, maybe a bit flaky going into a Tesco's store, but gotta get the coffee somewhere and against Sainsbury's are where my feelings are. However, I like Turtles as well. Looks like its going to be the local corner store, hope you don't have anything on his morals! Kidding like.... ;-)

my local MP has been very helpful on a local issue, and they'll get my vote for the first time partly as a result - it seems to me that its an important part of their job
Suppose what I meant really. I liked what she did for Rovers. No harm meant.

Not trying to be political, but we have talked about the boycott of Sainsbury's and this morning Simmonds/BNS... the support shown by Charlotte Lesley to help with the ground development, does this influence anyone on their vote next week. The parties always meet in the middle anyway, but she has been really high profile for us, including HT pitch the other week, so for that reason I am influenced.

I still drank in the Welly and in about 30 minutes will be buying petrol from Sainsburys. Are people honestly boycotting the supermarket still? Silly.

Agreed win and who knows if not then its, draw, win, win and we are up regardless and enjoyable as well.
Full house for Alfreton, and if needed, the playoff game will also be a sell out.

Yes gutted, although we weren't great, they shouldn't have scored. It was an individual error, and that's tough. It's still there to win, and if not then play offs it will have to be. Barnet have been let off, but they might say the same that they have let us off, and had they won would only need a point. They have to win there last game.

I was one who thought my world had come to an end....seriously upset by the relegation from the football league. I have found my love again for the Gas and have attended more games than I would have believed, and enjoyed it. My concern still remains the fact my C##y chums feel sorry for me, and whilst I wouldn't feel as bad as last year if we stay down I would still feel embarrassed our club is non-league. But I reckon we will go up.

Agree with Westcountry, Ellis has turned a corner (fingers crossed), Taylor is very good (finishing could be a touch better, but his all round is very good), Easter I am sure is very good, Bliss would be the suspect one, but impact sub, fine by me.

Would have taken that at the start of the season, but would forgo the Wembley drama if we get over the line top of the table. We shouldn't fear anybody though on a good Wembley surface. Oh hang on would have the semis first, again, over two legs I'd be pretty confident.

I'd start Taylor Harrison, said that a few weeks ago.
Great result, back to form. Genuinely fancy us, Barnet must drop points in a game, they're scraping by.
