Can't place any of the names on the bench? Malpass and Broom stood out for me whenever I watched the youth last season. Malpas central mid and stands out, I think Broom is a sort of no7 both very mobile and decent skill set.

Not sure what the fuss is about, its been the same for the last several years. The difference in price hasn't been highlighted very well, but with instalments its better to get in early as they have been cheaper for a number of years (same for matchday early bird stuff).

There is a whole scene where the guy wears it out and he is dancing in the Thekla, about 10 mins long.

Very bored, and not sure if mentioned previously (apologies if so). Interesting amusing film from Bristol. The Gas get a lot of mentions and a couple of shirts knocking about; in one scene a s**thead pipes up and gets verbally shot down, little things and all that.
Worth a view if as bored as I am closed season.

Ok Bamber in your considered enlightened opinion do you think Will Puddy make more mistakes and cost us goals/points or do you think Matt Taylor will miss more one on one chances and cost us goals/points ? Over to you my enchanted friend I'm no more or less enlightened than anybody else. It just seems to rub people up the wrong way that I won't stand on the terraces, waving pom-poms and celebrating mediocrity.
Taylor won't get so many chances, he won't be up against the village postman and electrician.
Puddy, we'll see. He's going to find L2 a bit tougher.
Well, I am starting to think if Taylor gets a good % of starts, he is going to get another 20 goals, he will feel more settled and not so pressurised by the size of our club, and we were quick to climb into him for missing some. He has shown he knows where the back of the net is and his ratio will improve IMHO. With Easter and Harrison fitting in somewhere, I like that forward line personally even in div 2.

Not League standard. Unless he improves he will cost plenty of points over a season.
If its ok with you I will disagree. Apart from the 1st half at Wembley, I think he's been excellent. His energy and confidence is to be built on.

I liked him all season. His fitness was fantastic, extra time at Wembley he was still ploughing away. Have to think he possibly wanted something rewarding as possibly his final useful season is coming up, and DC also knows his budget, so I expect its one of those situations that had to be fair for both sides. I would have liked him to be here, but get the conundrum of the deal.

atleast then we might have terraces with roofs and stands which actually match Is that important then? Terracing with a roof is I reckon. Stands that match aren't important, but stands that look decent with atmosphere capabilities are.

All the best Andy, hope you get a good deal with somebody. Not all appreciated what you did for us, but your consistency, professionalism and fitness was a credit to you and I think you were crucial to our campaign.

How about this for an idea. I was a season ticket at Bristol Rugby, but dislike watching it at Trashton. It may be some prejudice on my part, but I have non football mates who also dislike going there. The freedom of the Mem watching Bristol was fantastic, now its a military exercise to sit next to your mates.
So despite the obvious 'doesn't make commercial sense' why doesn't Lansdown buy the Mem if Sainsburys fails and give Bristol Rugby a stand alone ground (oh yeah they had that once), but with the right management it should work. Play in blue and everybody would be happy. We get the dosh to go and do our thing. Money shouldn't be the issue and if its for the sport of Bristol this ticks a few boxes.....or is it all just about domination?

I'm pretty sure it was also CL who kicked the ball out so Mildenahll could actually come on, I doubt Puddy will be thanking him for that though! It's just a pretty his brillant surging run in the second half didn't bring the goal it deserved. Surely a midfield of Mansel & Lines with SS as back is good enough for Div 2, assuming both can continue this seasons form? It was Mansell It was Linesy

Why would we need to replace Manse? He still has at least 2 quality seasons of football league left in him, love how he's been a 7/10 in nearly every single game, Monkhouse has been the same although i think Monky has probably just the 1 season left in him. Both superb pros who have been a major part of the dramatic improvement in team spirit, love how they haven't been sicknotes and if you look at there stats on soccerbase have both got through 40 plus games a season for the last 7 seasons on the trot now. Vital that they both stay and the mistakes Trollope made aren't repeated.
Thought Monkhouse showed what a professional he is yesterday. Kept going and still looked strong in ET.

Still rejoicing in the feeling from yesterday......
Looking at Luton, Portsmouth, Plymouth to name just a few, I also like going to Leyton Orient, and we have Yeovil and Notts County who I just love to beat (and lets hope Wycombe bottle the PO)
Might consider ST again after two years of dropping. Strange I hated Div 2, now cant wait.
