Just reading on Facebook that the cards used in 2019/20 season cannot be used if you renewed. Ticketmaster are not in a position to issue new season ticket cards yet so they are sending printed tickets to season ticket holders for the two opening league fixtures

If it's on facebook it must be true.
Who would have thought Ticketmaster would be a disaster.

If this is so, surely the club would surely communicate something to loyal ST holders - surely. What about the Ticket Office and Clare?

I'm still struggling to see the benefit of this to the club or the customer.
It's cumbersome and is costing the club money.
Who is gaining what?
Apart obviously from Ticket Master, who are charging the club and will be mercilessly harvesting data for marketing, so unless we have a deal tied up to share that data (nothing that Gorringe has ever done makes me think for one second that he would insist on owning the data outright, but I would love to be wrong on this occasion) it looks like a lose - lose for Rovers and the supporter.

I too fail to see any advantage to Rovers in outsourcing ticketing to an agent. It makes no sense to me on a commercial basis. Also, and I don’t know about anyone else, but for me going to the ground to pay for our ST’s or to buy away tickets in the week before an away game was all part of the experience. I’d have a good look around the shop, maybe even buy some merchandise, have a chat to the staff then go and watch the groundsmen working on the pitch. Now I have to p1ss around on the computer, remember passwords etc etc, and it got to the point with the Mansfield tickets where I nearly gave up. It seems nonsensical for the club to have spent all that money to finally give us a decent shop to then, at a stroke remove the main reason for most people to visit. The only thing I can think is that the EFL have stipulated all clubs must use Ticketmaster, probably because they're getting a hefty payment for exclusivity.

My own experience of ticketBaxxxxd has been awful. I have been waiting for hours, online, to get tickets for Pilton aka Glastonbury and shows like Derren Brown and either been cut loose or have no tickets available. The events did have tickets but they were not selling singles but would not say that. I go to the hippodrome or venue, to get tickets but it seems we won’t be able to do that at the mem, unless I have missed something

Can't believe why the club has failed to communicate what is going on with season ticket cards.
The PR has been lacking on this.

I don't understand why we need new Season Ticket cards. Previously, since the cards came in to replace books, we've just used the original card the following season.
Was a big thing when cards were introduced: a saving on postage; cutting down on single-use plastic.
Does this imply a change of card reader? Is it so Ticketmaster can get advertising on the cards?

I don't understand why we need new Season Ticket cards. How about people who didn`t have a season ticket last season, but want one for this?

There`s an email address to contact Ticketmaster, viz a viz our season tickets, and I`ve asked them to clarify matters. Will probably hear back, sometime next March.

Has anyone received either their ST, or a ticket/voucher for Saturday yet? Not me for one. Nor me. I tried to buy a ticket for tomorrow, Carabao Cup, but it didn't recognise my a/c number or p/word. It recognised them back in May when I renewed my ST. Will be on the phone shortly.

I have had noting yet either, I paid for a season ticket last year as well and received nothing, feeling a little forgotten if I am to be honest.

Just rang the club about my a/c number being rejected by T/master. Advised to email them about it - don't ring, you'll be waiting hours! But not worry!! Tickets will be on sale in the shop all day tomorrow, up to just before the game!!!! Bemused.
