had that been a full house at W then with 30,000 of the northern hoardes baying down their backs, then i reckon the away team would have pissed all over England, as for Southgate ,well not good when it comes to making decisive changes at the right time ,too afraid of upsetting the seniors in the team , Sterling should have gone off and not Foden and IMO Rashford should have started ahead of Kane , under pressure to win the last game, would not be surprised if England fail to get what they need ,

Big money move lined up and determined not to scupper it by getting injured is my best guess. Have a word, if he isn't up for it then send him home. Even half decent managers don't just stand there watching whilst limited teams like Scotland set up simple formations and do nothing whilst our players walk in to the same traps time after time, decent managers find solutions. England made 2 of their available 5 substitutions whilst that farce played itself out last night. Still, at least we didn't have Hart in goal, they had a shot on target, so we would have lost.

Portugal 2 Germany 4 - Wow what a good game that was, leaves the group wide open with the Hungarians upsetting the French with a 1-1 draw.
As long as Wales don't let in a hat full on sunday then they can relax a bit v Italy, with the Swiss v Turkey, both 5pm ko.

The joy of championships to me is a bridge between the end of a season and the start of the next. We have loads of football now. The fixtures come out on 24 June and about a week after that, with the EUROs still going on, we have our first pre-season.

If you have taken the time to research then you will know that BLM in America was formed in 2013, a political organisation as alluded to you above Where matters have gone wrong as I have tried to explain (but obviously failed!) is that far too many people have given credence to an organisation which the over whelming majority of people do NOT support with regard to its values So for example having BLM on the back of shirts and taking the knee reinforces that credibility Fortunately a number of players, including Saha clearly see that such an alignment does not help matters Unless someone is of very far right political leaning improving matters regarding injustices is of course correct - however how you present the message of support is just a important as the message that is said

Billy Gilmour has tested positive for Covid-19 and will miss Scotland's Euro 2020 match with Croatia on Tuesday.
Chelsea's Gilmour was a standout as Steve Clarke's side drew 0-0 with England on Friday - the midfielder's first Scotland start.
The BBC has asked the Scottish FA if any close contacts of Gilmour will also miss the match due to the need to self-isolate.
"The Scottish FA can confirm that a member of the Scotland national team playing squad, Billy Gilmour, has tested positive for Covid-19," the SFA said.
"Having liaised with Public Health England since the positive test was recorded, Billy will now self-isolate for 10 days and therefore miss tomorrow's Uefa EURO 2020 Group D match against Croatia at Hampden."

If the Wembley crowd get half as noisy and emotional as the Danes did tonight then that might just help, but Southgate has to get out of reverse gear first..... otherwise it's a new manager/coach for the national team after this effort,

England's Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell will miss Tuesday's Euro 2020 game against the Czech Republic as they self-isolate because of a risk of Covid-19 exposure. The pair were seen interacting with Chelsea team-mate Billy Gilmour after England's draw with Scotland on Friday - since which the midfielder has tested positive for coronavirus. Chilwell and Mount are required to isolate until 28 June. Both have tested negative for Covid-19.

I hoped for Scotland and I also hope they can build from this European Championship competition. Outplayed by a Croatia team that seems to have woken up. When it went to 1-1 with McGregor's fine goal, it was false hope. Step up one of the greatest players on the planet, no not John McGinn, but Modric. We can have no complaints, but there's a lot of positives to take from the tournament, especially the young players coming through. 🏴

We were playing all of group f teams at some time last night and ended up with the Germans - can't wait, revenge will be sweet.
England have to have confidence, energy and a want to win this game, Germany are beatable like everyone else.
