But correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the Chairman of the sc one of those advocating the agenda for change and even he couldn't get what your friends or colleagues wanted i was fortunate enough to be in attendance at the meeting where the former directors went through the Rafc document with support groups. The chairman of the Supporters Club was also there - Jim Chappel. Indeed one of the SC representatives was openly hostile before as much as a page was opened, his behaviour that evening was shameful. I would argue that it was the lack of SC backing, and indeed their loyalty to then Box 1, which meant that the Agenda got Change was never adopted by the majority of the fan base. Quite ironic when you see the similarities with those now openly aggressive to the current regime. But surely if there was a motion on the table then those present would have voted on it.if that was the case and it was voted down then end of story motion lost.if there wasn't a motion put forward then that was remiss on the part of those promulgating the agenda for change for not doing so. As you were there which was it

It was prior to then. 2006 was, from memory, when realisation finally dawned and anyway was about the FC not the SC. With respect, as you have said you weren't active within the SC at the time, you can't speak with any authority on who attempted to do what and how it was received. That would be like me disagreeing with your assessment of players on Saturday. But correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the Chairman of the sc one of those advocating the agenda for change and even he couldn't get what your friends or colleagues wanted Can’t remember Jim Chappell having anything to do with it. Is any of this relevant now, most involved are either dead or incontinent.

Who resigned shortly after wards over some sort of disagreement with geoff dunford No, John had resigned just after the directors resigned. The RAFC document was drawn up after those resignations. I love how history gets changed. I read earlier that Steve Lansdown was once ignored by Geoff Dunford when he tried to invest at Rovers. Another load of bollocks, it was Keith Dawe, the current Bristol City chairman. 🙄🙄

It's irrelevant anyway though Padstow. Rafc was to do with the FC. Not the constitution of the SC. Back on topic, SC accounts should be available tomorrow I believe, for anyone interested in studying them.

Problem - Organisation slowly dying/steadily losing status in the long run due to apathy and perceived irrelevance among its key target audience for new members with a particular demographic challenge in appealing to younger people.
Apparent Current Proposed Solution - Find out what it is that currently apathetic non-members would like changed about the organisation in order that it would then become appealing and relevant enough for them to join, then tell apthetic non-members that they need to become members in order to enact those changes that would be a neccesary pre-condition for them overcoming their apathy and joining in the first place. Then become defensive and resentful at those apthetic non-members for continuing their apathetic non-membership and lacking the vision to transform an organisation they don't care about. Repeat strategy annually.

Bring back Gordon Bennett to re-invigorate the SC and make John K the Commercial Officer.
Launch the new SC with a nutters' Football Special to Sunderland which will give everyone an opportunity to white-board strategy. Make Joe90 dress up as a Court Jester and collect SC annual subscriptions from those that jumped on at Stapleton Road.
Invite Manager and players to travel on way back with stop at Worcester Shrub Hill for canapes.

After we just beat Daggers, I'll take Glouces Rd. It were gert mint, and not a S'hed in sight. Everyone to their own choice but Gloucester Road is not mine Most nights it's horrible, full of taxi drivers who think they have some kind of cloak of invincibility that means they can drive however they like and drunken idiots, that normally involves males who want to fight anything that moves and females who dressed as far as their underwear and then rushed out forgetting to put the rest of their clothes on, they don't want to fight until around 11pm, then they are worse than the males. Apart from that, and cyclists with a death wish, it's super.

Enjoy the professional beggars, at least one of them makes at least £100 every Fri night and then the same again every Sat night, he takes his change to a shop owned by someone I know and exchanges it for notes.
