Matty taylor is well yesterday or very old news. Today is kyle bennett and his dazzling ball skills and step overs or liam sercombe running onto a pass on his lethal right foot. Ellis harrison causing panic with pace and strength and endless work rate. Tom broadbent, very raw but powerful. Can the beard still be the beard? can dan leadbitter still scorch the grass on the overlap. Can anyone whose played the game at any level imagine trying to mark chris lines?Time to move on from matty taylor imo. Would have had him in my back pocket.

I find that kind of reply hard to understand from any adult. I won’t go into what and how of the actual deal but tell me you would stay at a lower division, on a quarter if the wage offered out of some kind of forced loyalty and where fickle fans will tear you a new one if you dint score in a couple of games and I’d say you were nuts. He’s not even a Bristolian. It’s a limited period to earn as much as you can and go as far as you can go. He, as a player, would know of where the stadium was going and made a choice. To be ran out of 2 houses is disgusting behaviour and what I grew to expect if the 82 but I see the hate goes far at our club too He allegedly told his agent his release fee. It was done right at the end of the window to stop us signing a replacement. It’s a bit different. I don’t condone violence but it’s amongst the worst ways to shaft your club for financial gain. Lambert could have, but didn’t. Clarke could have gone to Leeds for the money and didn’t. His future as a starter here was good. He traded it all to shaft us and warm a bench. Part of that deal was Lansdown specifically and cynically derailing our promotion bid which was looking good. They were looking like they were down. You can’t tell me that was purely about football on the pitch, it was partly a coup to keep their fans happy. Not usual business at all. Clarke seemed to echo the idea he conducted his business without class or grace. And Clarke’s a fair guy. His agent would be allowed to know the release fee as it’s his or her remit to get the best deal. That is not thenplayers fault. We signed him after he had trained separately from the squad as he made it clear he was looking elsewhere so I’ve no problem with it at that point it was us that made the huge mistake of allowing such a low release fee, he had no options at the time or should I say no better options and so he signed but the the caveat that if a team hit that 300K number, he was allowed to talk to them. Im sorry but it was our fault but what do you do ? Sign him and get some goals or puff up and say eff off, no one tells us what the release clause will be regardless, I still do not condone vandalising his house and threatening him nor his family and I’m ashamed of other gas that think it’s fine, full stop

Thank god for them when working 6 days a week in some half a pony town in Germany lol My old man worked in Germany in 70s and had lodgings in a brothel. He promised me he was chaste. Yeah right, Dad If my experience is anything to go by then he not being exactly honest. I had my only experiences of hookers in Germany & the Czech Republic and they are not backwards in coming forwards. It’d done very differently over there & you feel no pressure nor are you pressed but boy, you want to. Most of them would make worth miss world contestants. I was so naive in this respect that I even asked the most beautiful woman I’ve ever had had the pleasure of “ why do you do this” LOL I CERTAINLY would have been happy to bring her home. The Juank bank has been duped many a time about her. Pizza parlour my arse lmfao

I feel that any affection is misplaced jules as they literally do it with anyone.
Taking them home would have been a bad move, once the list chemicals wore off, you’d be left with a skeleton in the closet, and a rapid pulse any time a mate came over. Especially if she suddenly was buying the rounds!

Clarke seemed to echo the idea he conducted his business without class or grace. And Clarke’s a fair guy. Of course it was to cause maximum damage but his agent is privy to the release fee as he negotiated the contract fella. He went on the final day as he was hoping for Cardiff to come in but he asked too much, I’m reliably told. If you’re going to be angry then do so at Lansdown and his puerile behaviour. He is worth the vituperation at least but I truly do not believe MT did it on purpose, I believe he was trying to get a better deal and those Cnuts were not in the running until a week before The agent also should have had his license taken from him for his dodgy dealings but proving it is a different ball game, forgive the pun Taylor is paying his dues, doesn’t play and will probably not get back to the form he has whilst here. I lay this ALL at the agent and 82 financial people feet. I think running people out of town is fecking disgusting and they’d get rok salt & nails if it were me.

The bar steward had the neck to ask mr for 30marks when I was on my ginger stroke

Our "manager" should have tried to sign him on loan. That boy knows how to play, has boundless energy and would score loads given the service.
His agent and that petty twat Lansdown are the "snakes", not Matty Taylor.

Of course, when offered the deal to derail our promotion hopes for better money, he was like “no, no, I don’t care about the money. I can’t stab my team, fans and manager in the back” but the agent and Lansdown forced him at gunpoint to do it.

He is in a job where usually by the age of 35, your career is over. The days of Stuart Taylor are gone. Matt wanted a better life and a more secure future. He did what countless others have done.

Yes, and if you do what Matt did, you of course are wealthier, but you have to live with resentment. It’s the deal, if you don’t want to be a pariah, don’t move to your rivals in a promotion race. If you can live with that, take the money. Taylor reserves his right to the money, I reserve my right to resent him.

I agree with the sentiment : if I was offered 3 or 4 times the salary I’m sure that I’d go too! I think the issue many have with him was the MANNER of the move: that ‘behind the scenes’ video of him signing - designed to rub our noses in it!), and joining in and playing along with Bristol Sports’ obvious mocking of the Rovers over the move (he could have opted to request that the transfer was handled with dignity), including having a laugh at Rovers’ expense with their ‘Champagne moment of the season’ award etc. Has he acted with respect and dignity then I think the reception wouldn’t be as bad. As it was he seemed to revel in the piss taking and mockery of the Gas that followed the move.

I’d like to think you or I would not have played up for our new owners like Taylor did. Someone with a bit of class and respect would have known that such a move would cause antagonism and embarrassment for his former employers and would have kept their head down...not him, he lapped up all that welcome to Bristol crap and then topped it all off with that goal gif with the snake. Zero class. Personally I think his career peaked by signing for City and I think he is about to start his tumble down the leagues. He needs lots of opportunities to score (the promotion game against Dagenham being a case in point- couldn’t hit a cow’s ass with a banjo that day) and he may not get the chance to play for such a prolific side again in terms of chances created so it’s feasible he will find himself in league 2 before long. I hope his career is a case in point for the idiom “be nice to others on the way up because you never know when you will meet them on the way back down”

He seems to have made a mess of spending that much money on finishing 8th in a 6 horse race and we're still only one good or bad season away from them. Nob
