Sir Geoffrey of Keynsham, spelt K E Y N S H A M will return to save us. Good old Geoff. Perhaps if he supported the bloke he brought in as a ally instead of setting the bloke up we would not be in this sess pit. I fail to believe the dire Rovers situation is all the work of one man alone, Nick Higgs.
I don't think that you are too wide of the mark here Crazyloco.

no i read your post but if the board believe in the appeal they have to follow it through,,,,,,,the conference is simply the next division down to league 2 thats all. fans of a certain age like me imagine we should be a top lge 1 club or a rubbish championship club but im looking forward to this season in lge 2 very much,,,hope you are too? Wow, talk about out lowering expectations. As much as I am relieved we got promoted, I am both ashamed and deeply embarrassed that we got relegated out of the FL. our fans have the ammunition of 1982 but now they have May 3rd 2014 forever in their armoury. I am 51 years old and so have luckily seen limited success but also a great and attacking team that Bill Dodgin handed over to Don Megson. For me that was the best Football and period. There is now 3 generations who have been brought up with no tangible success and never seen us in the 2nd tier. We should be pushing the current board and not appeasing them. Phone is great but false hope is a terrible thing and I feel we are on the ship of fools, being led by a man whose ego will not allow him to accept defeat graciously and to move on. We are looking at a man who could well take us into administration. Yes, I look forward to being back in the FL but it doesn't excite me. I now worry about our very existence and the constant white noise of appeals and court cases mean we can never concentrate on the main thing that brings us here, Football. im 56 at went with my dad during the dodgin and the megson era though by 1975 i was playing local football and went less then,,,,dont forget we played in the 2nd tier under francis. anyway i dont see the point of sulking and being gloomy until were back were we think we belong,i enjoyed last season and im looking forward to this one. the board? were stuck with them until whenever arnt we? is an appeal a foolish folly? i dont know im not a great legal expert or enthusiast

The truth is, a large amount DO accept it and give their support to the imbeciles who are running our club. I say our club but let's face it, it's a 2 man Junta. The target of splitting the fan base has been very successful and it's the main reason the chairman feels he can act in the manner he does. This guy makes Geoff Dunford look an astute leader by comparison & even Geoff acknowledged that the verdict wasn't even close. Sad times indeed. Sir Geoffrey of Keynsham, spelt K E Y N S H A M will return to save us. Was only talking with the Mrs about this yesterday. He does keep elevated company and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he was working on a plan to get new investors in. I am not saying it will happen but that it wouldn't surprise me. Hey, I'd be happy if he did. Right now I would be over bloody joyed if he managed to get people involved and the whole saga could be sorted. Plus the constant drama and uncertainty that we have had to deal with, for such a long time, that has kept the Footballing side from being the main thing and of this forum and other social media sites & pages from discussing football related chat. I don't know about you but this saga and how it is being dragged on is tiring me out and my love of the club is failing due to it. I am finding other things more appealing at times. I stayed away from all but 4 home games last season as it is. I am just tired of the same old crap. I used to get quite excited in just the build up to match days. I imagine others feel the same. This continual salmon like behaviour, of swimming against the river, is eating the club alive.
