"Q Is there still a chance we will be able to build the UWE Stadium, even without funding from Sainsburys? The chances of finding the funding would be very slim, given that the Club would need to have access to funds totalling £30 million+ in the short term."
Plainly, there is no plan B then.
"Q Won’t it be hugely expensive? There will be a cost to this, but should we be successful then this will be covered by a damages claim payable by J Sainsbury’s."
Oh holy sweet baby jeezus no. We are planning to plug a financial gap by winning a case we just lost. This is the exit strategy. Holy s**t.

I suppose we finally got a honest answer for the 'walter mitty dreamers' . When we fail against Sainsbury's there is No plans and NO money for other options. We can finally focus on reducing the debt and NEVER again talk about ground projects.
The problem we have is it will take years to balance the books if we survive. At least we know our humble future by August 1st ...

So why have we gone from joint top with Pompey ( before judgement ) to half way ( since). Ain't even worth debating Bamber best to give up....

Credit for at least answering some questions.
If we win Sainsburys can pay for everything. If we lose.....
Oh, losing.is not an option
We only lost in the last second of the appeal

I don't know how anyone can be surprised the amount of times we have been outright lied to and people still choose to believe the BS. Yes, they choose to believe it. I I am sorry for my oerceived negativity but the form that these guys is beyond belief and to think we really had any viable plan B was just folly. It was very plain to see this was 5h1T or bust and now this is being played out,to the bitter end. My Dad used to have this Polish saying that said a drowning man will hold onto a cut throat razor? To stay afloat. This is exactly what is happening here. I have swallowed the line of Higgs is a gashead so he has the clubs interests at heart, once too many times. This is basically roulette but with the entire club being placed on a single number and hoping it turns up.

I'd like to ask him two questions:
if, at any point, sainsbury's offered us a sum to settle the case?
It beggars belief that they wouldn't have reduced their legal risks and mitigated bad PR by offering a couple of million quid during the process.
How will the Wonga loan be repaid?
Just the sort of thing 2 million quid would be useful.

I believe that if one side officially offers an Out of Court settlement figure, which is not bettered by the outcome of the case, then the side who turned the offer down will be liable for all expenses.

Rather than ask if a specific sum was mentioned I would have asked whether Sainsbury's undicated that they would be willing to discuss a settlement?

I'm sure it is a watertight appeal.

I'm sure it is a watertight appeal. These morons are destroying this club, dc and any player worth anything will be gone by xmas. Unless new owners are found, we'll be dead in two years.

This takes the biscuit.
About this time last year we had public Q&A sessions. Questions had to be submitted in advance; there was some cherry picking, but the board was there. Now they produce the questions and then write the answers.
NH wanted more Q&A sessions, but we've had none since. There's even more of a bunker mentality.

Actually he's just a Cock. Funny you should use that word.....the same word was used in a conversation I had yesterday. Must be a universally held truth!
