I asked him if there was any chance of some new televisions for the supporters club bar and guess what? We got a couple. im still waiting for the new toilet roll holders in the gents but, fingers crossed, Brian will work the magic again. Maybe when we play teams we don't like Brian could arrange to lace the toilet paper in the away end with pepper spray? He did this before the last home game against Newport so they destroyed the toilets in the away and someone employed by the club decided not to send the repair bill to Newport as they were allowed to do.

just like countyground thinks rovers had the largest budget i believe eastleigh and forest green had bigger budgets than ours last season with barnet just behind,,just like countyground this is also total guesswork but hey ho The strange and laughable thing about Mr County Ground is that he wants every to prove facts about their `opinion` but never gives facts regarding his own rants. I blame the dodgey beer in the Vic I also believe Eastleigh and Forest Green had a bigger budget. James Constable was rumoured to be on £4,000 a week. But my point was that Darrel Clarke never spent the majority of the playing budget as it was already spent from previous big signings. If Why would you blame the dodgy beer in the Vic for not understanding who is in charge of the budget? And wink?

PS: I should've added if you really believe that Barnet are providing free accommodation and not correctly accounting for it you need to toddle off and present your 'evidence' to HMRC. Do be sure to let us know how you get on

Are those people that keep saying Darrel Clarke had this `massive` budget at his disposal last season forgetting the amount already being taken up by players such as Parkes, Brown, Mildenhall, Machrystal, Harrison etc, etc? Which consequently meant he didn't have the whole of that seasons budget? That's why players such as Sinclair joined on hundreds of pounds per week instead of the ££££££ of said players? Its just another cheap shot. This season players wanting £1,500 were rightly given short shrift by Clarke. Rovers finally going in the right direction but this `Clarkes massive` budget which gets thrown around always makes me smile. Finally, do the `lodgings` for the Barnet players in London get mentioned in the accounts? I doubt it. Talking crap again crazytrain. For a start DC offered Brown a contract. Secondly it's part of a managers job to 'move' players on if he thinks the budget could be better spent. Thirdly he's doing a great job and doesn't need this irrational defence anytime someone says something other than he is a footballing God. I personally have no doubt that we spent more on players wages than any other team in the Conference last year and it was money well spent. Of that is my opinion on which I have little facts to back it up just as anyone saying we didn't spend the most has little fact to back that up either.

Parkesy get the touch, or was it the defender? At the time I did wonder if the flag would go up for offside. I wondered that too. I don't think he touched it, and he ends up further from the goal than the defender, so he'd have been level (and partially obscured by the defender from the Lino's view) as the ball passed him. Fair play I hadn't noticed Parkes involvement on the other goals video. Think it was really just a desperate appeal from Stack from a shot he should really have got too.

Never mind, eh? I don't think it was deliberate. Clarke didn't want to criticise Gosling, that's all. There was no change at all on the left hand side while Gosling was pottering about in no man's land on the right. I admire your persistence!!!! Pathetic isn't it

Knew the Latvian would be on here disputing the fact that the right sided player normally takes the throwins (well unless the throwin is on the left). Why can't people just accept that DC is a normal person who makes mistakes. Thankfully DC realised his mistake at halftime and corrected it. Well done DC.

Martin Allen is an excellent firefighter whether that is to keep you in the league or get you promoted from an abysmal league (or are we back to pretending the Conference was a 'quality' league). And yes I'll stick by my view that I would've appointed him before Clarke when we got relegated but if I'd have been in the position to appoint him then I'd have been lining up my next appointment from day one. Still let's ignore the fact he won our league last year on undoubtedly a lower budget than the team who finished second, oh and fourth and fifth

Think you need a visit to Specsavers. Whether we chose to go to 4-4-2 or just 'drifted' into 4-4-2 we were definately playing 4-4-2 after the sub up to halftime. Thankfully after halftime DC got us back to 3-5-2 except when we were defending and it was 5-3-2 All that happened was Gosling didn't know what he was doing at right wing back, so he hovered between defence and midfield contributing absolutely nothing. Clarke recognised this and swapped him with Sinclair at half time. No change in formation, just a temporary loss of shape. A temporary loss of shape to 4-4-2? I agree. Shall I send you the address for specsavers?

Really? Purely opinions, people going by what they saw, and as such yours is no different. I previously said it was difficult to tell at times. I believe I saw us line up with 2 rows of 4, between Danny Leadbitter going off and half-time, and quite a few others seem to concur. Yep, really. Think you need a visit to Specsavers. Whether we chose to go to 4-4-2 or just 'drifted' into 4-4-2 we were definately playing 4-4-2 after the sub up to halftime. I thought we went 4-4-2 when DL was stretchered off, with Gos right wing, Sincs left wing and JC moving over to right back. We seemed to lose our shape a bit and Barnet were getting back into the game. After the break it looked to me like we went back to 3-5-2, with Sinc and Browner deployed as wing-backs, but it was difficult to tell !! :-D It was quite a fluid formation, with the shape changing when not in possession. Whatever it was, we re-gained the initiative and played the ball about nicely. Was definately 4-4-2 after Leadbitter went off until half time and that was the only period when Barnet looked any good.

Dave can you be sure to advertise the date of the first meeting on here? I'm sure posters wouldn't want to accidently walk in on such a meeting.
PS: I'd only book a small room for that meeting

Nice to see you back, bfip. Let's hope for a good game today. What are your thoughts for this season? Optimism/pessimism? Where do you see BFC/BRFC final placings? I think most of us bees fans just want consolidation, ideally a top half finish. I think we can get it as long as others step up and replace our creative players from last season who have been let go. Akinde and MacLean could be a dangerous partnership and we have quick, direct wingers with a solid enough defence. For Rovers, I think you could really be up there in or near the playoffs but it's very early days. Seems like you have a good vibe around your club and that's helping you to push on. But I don't want to jinx anything. But I will be pissed all weekend if you score another late winner... Oh dear no excuse to get pissed this weekend then. What happened to the strong defence good forward line and attacking wingers? Did they all get off the coach at Swindon?

Am I the only one who thought Lee Brown looked surprised at the 'training ground' corner routine?
Surprised no-one has started an ollie Clarke thread who was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch yesterday. If he grows a beard he may have a chance of being motm.

Right. But nobody said they were pension providers. They said they sell and arrange pensions. Which they do. Brokerage is not selling. How can somebody who is not a pension provider sell a pension plan? Jelf do not set the price, or receive the money for the sold product - they receive a fee, or commission, for making the arrangements, and negotiating special terms. They are agents, intermediaries. They sell advice, and they broker deals. The deal is between the selling party (the pension provider) and the buying party (the employer).
God of all knowledge, Wikipedia - 'A broker is an individual or parties (brokerage firm) that arranges transactions between a buyer and a seller for a commission when the deal is executed. '
For example - if Natham Blissett's agent was to negotiate with Arsenal and we were to subsequently sell Blissett to Arsenal for £30m quid, Blissett's agent would receive a well earned fee or commission from that deal, paid by Arsenal. But Rovers would still be the selling party.
Anyway, I want hear more about electrical wholesaling.
Can someone contact Nathan Blissett's agent and offer him a fee of 50% on any deal he arranges over £29.9m?
