To be fair though do we want more than we need. Wael to appoint and trust a good football person to Chairman, that, and our patience, is all it needs isn’t it? It will take a lot more than just the appointment of a new Chairperson to solve our problems but I’m hopeful that in his next open letter Wael will announce he plans to set up a Commission for Truth and Reconciliation. However I fear he will also tell us that the effects of the ongoing Pandemic mean to start with the Commission will be for Reconciliation only and we will get the Truth once our new stadium is completed and Championship status achieved.

Astutely written. “14 games in and sitting 18th with 18 points is unacceptable. There are no more excuses to be had – no more bemoaning a lack of pre-season, injuries, time to gel the squad together. A pattern has developed and that is not progressing as the season goes on. Take our wins for example. Oldham and Crawley were both narrow victories against poor sides that could have been very different if the opposition hadn’t spurned so many chances. Walsall were also poor and so were Carlisle. We have failed to beat a single top team and lost convincingly to Swindon, Newport and Exeter. But it should be so different. How does a team with Nicholson, Thomas, Evans, Pitman, Collins, Sam Finley etc not win more matches? Why have we scored so few and why do we concede so many? We have the sixth-worst goal difference and have only scored two more goals than games played.” www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/evans-pitman-bristol-rovers-barton-6107217

We've got 15 points.

I'm hoping that silence from BRFC is because they are putting together the press releases. 1. An apology from the Club regarding the comments of the manager (and for broadcasting them), and 2. News that "the stench" has been removed. It could be a good day for Bristol Rovers FC. It's been a long time.

The club is owned by someone who didn't feel it appropriate to suspend Barton whilst this is still ongoing? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-57969765

Give it time. If WaQ's called Barton in to discuss matters, it will be half an hour before he can get a word in edgewise.
I seem to recall DC's sacking being announced at around 12 noon. So there's still hope ...

Sam Frost reckons we are playing a 4 4 2 with Anderson as right back.
“ Rovers have played 4-4-2 in the past two games, Richard. Sometimes it looks a tad lobsided with Harry Anderson taking a higher starting position than Nick Anderton, but it is definitely a back four. “

I do not know about you but my patience is done and I am not prepared to carry on following a club with zero ambition and overachieving on that
