I had had conversations with the club about setting up a new SC which would be in direct opposition to the existing one how are you getting on with that ITB? Been arrested for insurrection |

Strange isn't it. If something isn't true but you don't realise then you don't know that you've been deceived. And I'm pretty sure that we all have been deceived at some point. Anybody arrogant enough to think that recognising deceit is always easy is probably caught more often than most. Depends on whether there has been any deceit..?? I attended an AGM, I was invited to do so by the club as I had had conversations with the club about setting up a new SC which would be in direct opposition to the existing one and the shareholders that are in part, part of the same group along with some presidents club meme era, it was an opportunity to see it first hand all in the same room, and what entertainment that was. I walked in without being questioned, was greeted and sat next to Tom Gorringe. I’m not sure how deceitful that was, from my part not at all, as I accepted an invitation by the majority shareholders. The only ones that made trouble that night, are the same ones that make trouble in general and who post all sorts of nonsense on both these forums. The irony... Now that is the first time I have seen you post a reference to the AGM stating you were invited by the club. You walked in with out being questioned? Well let me tell you that Clare Mcdonaagh has been the gate keeper at AGMs for many years and does a fantastic job.If you are not a shareholder you dont get in, Clare sees to that .So are you suggesting Clare was not doing her job correctly that night? I didnt see exactly want went on but 2 people close to me did you were shoe horned into the meeting by Tom Gorringe hence BS comments |

How many posters have you said were Steve Hamer then, when questioned, you admitted that you were not certain. You get much of your information from your uncle and others you sit with. The fact you say it doesn’t make it more valid. As for the going rate , have you questioned all L1 managers ? Your comments are like most others, not based in fact but on supposition and presumption. So much i could say but it’s an exercise in futility. I had already written a much longer and very specific reply but then did not post. The hubris is beyond belief, the self adulation is truly fantastic in the true meaning of the word. I don’t need the pointless back & forth comments. Well given that I caught Hamer on the forum under various different aliases and then when you call him out he never posts again says I didn't have a bad hit rate. I was also told he was printing off posts and filing them!! I don't get any information from my uncle at all regarding the present running of the club, and I never used to ask when he had a say, and as he hasn't been involved with the running of the club since the takeover, so what possible useful information could he give me now? I also know lots of other people that work in the football world that have no connection to rovers, players, agents, marketing teams, board members and we talk about football a fair bit, so yes, I do get a good cross section of what goes on. As for the salaries, you could have a look at the EFL information given to the press that was printed only a few months ago, it gave you budgets, the highest wage paid in the league for managers and players as well as the lowest and a mean average of what general pay was. That information was provided by each club to the EFL. I have spoken to DC once or twice, whether he remembers it I don't know, and I've also heard an off the record interview too in which he wasn't particularly praiseworthy of the club. There are always 3 versions to a story, each persons view and then the truth that weaves through the middle. |

We have a group of people together who have some great ideas, one person has already made contact with TG who has given him some time, and we were due to get together and sort through it all when COVID hit us, and since we don't know what is happening with that, and with individuals who have also been affected in all sorts of areas of their life we haven't discussed it any further. Once everyone is back on an even keel we might be able to move things on a bit. |

I had a good relationship with WAQ too as he told me I was the first gashead that he followed but then got blocked for asking fairly normal questions. He has blocked a lot more. He could not stay away from ANY media but we now see the man on the hill & a bunker mentality with long serving staff being shed & anyone that has a view that differs, is not wanted. As for Hamer, you called poster Horfield Hamer, I can tell you he is not and finds it very funny. As for I was told, that’s not worth replying to as it’s supposition & speculation. You, when pressed, admitted that you couldn’t be sure. As I see it, there is agenda to get rid of anything independent of the club and to control all. I don’t think that’s healthy and, even though I think the SC is outdated I still know they did a great amount of good for the club. Stuck a roof on the North terrace and still gives money to the club. As for versions of a story, there is truth and BS but I understand that forum posters have differing opinions. It would be a dull place if we all thought the same. As for what the media write about salaries, there are many clubs who do not give a truthful representation and because they find ways to do things differently, like Fleetwood as an example. From what I remember of my entry to the clubhouse terrace I remember opening the door for a middle aged gent behind me, who I chatted with on the way from the car park, I honestly don't remember being stopped by anyone, I do remember walking to the bar, getting a drink and then talking with Tom and sitting next to him before the circus started. As I'm unaware of the job role and duties of Clare McDonnagh it would be completely amiss of me to make any such accusation to which you state. You’re asking me details about a complete non event from my perspective that was over a year ago. I’ve slept since then. |

Do we really need to go over his catalogue of mistakes, he's the last person you would want anywhere near a new project. Anyway, what's it supposed to be, a club run by the FC or an independent SC. None of it matters anyway as if it was going to happen there would be at least some kind of framework in place and some of the people we know would be nattering about meetings to discuss what works and what doesn't. |

In total agreement. This forum normally has a good few who genuinely know about the situation at the club but you rarely see them post about it but, if so, it can be taken with the kudos they carry. I'm sure if your not a shareholder of any organisation you can not be invited to attend an AGM by the majority shareholders, let alone then as an observer address the room from the floor in the middle of the meeting without identifying yourself.
So what have we now discovered today, the club majority shareholders conspiring against other shareholders and the supporters club a year ago pushing to replace them and their financial support assisting the club, they take the money though don't they, nice people we have at the top.
