Possibly the worst thread I've read in the history of various Rovers forums. Chewy I do genuinely find you amusing sometimes, your ground hop stories are great and when you're actually talking about football your posts make a lot of sense; but the way you seem to get off on 's***housing' fellow Gasheads is utterly pathetic and you need to grow up mate.Kingswood, I have stuck up for lots of your post before when you were getting stick on here, but you're on your own on this one!!
I suppose we all have different perceptions of how our post are perceived, Harry seems to genuinely think his post's weren't sneering and were designed to help promote the club, and Kingswood seems to think 's**thousing' fellow Rovers fans is pathetic, yet presumably doesn't think some of his previous posts could have been seen in the same light.
Why can't you all be witty and clever like me

the point is ......everyone thinks they are a football manager/pundit/referee.... I blame FIFA championship manager and sky sports plus talksport....I have been a youth team manager,I am a qualified and active FA referee (Glos FA & Somerset FA) and know everything about football !!! ...after playing/watching and actively involved in it ...from scouting for Bristol Rovers youth department so feel very qualified to know what I am talking about !
This is written firmly tongue in check and will no doubt bring a stinging response from Chewy et all
Personal threats and name calling plus saying I don't contribute to the Club I have supported since 1967 will no doubt follow....but as I keep saying "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it". Come on you blues UTG
ps Have a super bank holiday weekend and safe and enjoyable trip to Swindon and hope the three points return to the Mem

Maybe you should have a read back to clarify things in your mind. There's something very peculiar about the way you post. To try to make sense of what you are saying now is beyond me. (I doubt even a football manager/pundit/referee with all the qualifications in the world could make sense of it tbh.) Perhaps you're having some sort of mid-life crisis. I've no idea. I do know that I won't be buying any more of your books though. Somehow you've managed to kill off any inclination I had previously on that score. I think I'll be putting you on my "block list" from now on too. I've enough puzzles in my life without adding any extra ones. I just hope you feel better soon.

Dear Andy Strange response indeed but must thank you for your concern...Got to admit have never felt better...a thriving business, young grandchild plus walking football all helps as does a Rovers side playing with passion....I have no idea who the hell you are and you do not even know me but must thank you for buying our books. Frankly you do sound conceited, mixed up and must be troubled if you resort to blocking someone with an "alternative view" but hey I wont lose any sleep I assure you....those "puzzles" you have are best shared -I have a friend who only charges small fees for one to one counselling I can put you in touch with her....As I am constantly reminded by other gasheads there are some weird, troubled people in society ...hope you resolve your puzzles ..best wishes Harry

I missed 3 away games last season , and have already missed 2 this season so I realise that to you I am not a proper fan The purpose of the rule changes for this competition is a prelude to premiership under 21 sides to compete in division 3 4 5 and this is what you are supporting by attending these matches If this happens I will not be attending any games at all even if lower league clubs survive the changes

You really do seem quite strange. Ah well, it takes all sorts. He's also got someone phoning radio stations pretending to be him! During the commentary of today's game they were talking about how many keepers Rovers had had in recent years, the presenter said that someone using his name had called from Bristol to say that the answer was 12. But it couldn't have been our esteemed club historian, as someone else also phoned in with a list of 13 names for the same period. Oh, and part-timers make Mike sick

With Shaun Harvey again shooting his mouth off, this time about getting the Old Firm down to play in the Football League is it becoming more obvious than ever that attending games in this competition is helping destroy your clubs. Scabs aots.

Scabs aots. From what I can see, Celtic would struggle in the Championship, at the moment Rangers aren't even that good. Come on down As for Harvey, given his conduct at Leeds, it's amazing that he's allowed anywhere near the game in a professional capacity, let alone invited into the corridors of power.

His record with Bradford was fantastic as well, fraud of a man who should have no place in football.
